About This Video:
In this video, Chris Schmidt and Nick Campbell from Greyscalegorilla show you how to create a Blast Wave effect in Cinema 4D using the Collision deformer and other Mograph Cloner Effects.
OMG! The Null (Check, I think that's what you said) was an amazing tip in itself! Thank you Nick and Chris for doing what you do! Honest to God, I would have never picked up Cinema 4d if I didn't have Greyscalegorilla... Your tutorials, podcast, (especially the podcasts) and your add-on's/plugins rock.... Just picked up X-Particles 3.0 from Greyscalegorilla,... A week or two ago... thank you for the additional scene files. They're a lot of fun... and worth the little extra... I suppose its my way of giving back... Thanks again guys, and looking forward to everything you guys share with us.
The fixed texturing part was a lifesaver! Thanks a lot
Great tutorial as usual. Keep up the great work!
Thank you guys,, keep up the great work
What a blast! Must watch
Guys!!! Really, Really thank you!!! For the technics with cloner and null object! This really help me!!!
oh man, you are amazing, i hop one day can working on cinema 4D like you...
thank you for tutorial...
TEAM WORK I APPRECIATE
Thanks !!
thanks for your Effort
The sound effects... the sound effects. Best part of the video.
thx for usefull tips
Nice job. Just my idea , if you use some volumetric light from bottom, can bring interesting looks when that light beams shine from lil spaces the cloners. On dark scene can be fine :D
Awesome tutorial guys!
Thanks, Alex!
thanks for aswome tutorial
nice video and thank you for the tutorial. can you make a video loop as used by dj, just my request. thank you
Thank you so much guys)That is exactly thing that i need now)
Thanks
這太棒了,我一直想了解這作法
Great tutorial, but how do you connect the plane to the cloner so they move together?
So wait, correct me if I'm wrong - you're selling a plugin that bends the animation effect curve? You can do that by right-clicking the animation lock....
find it satisfying that Nick starts every video with the exact same "in todays cinema 4d tutorial..." in the exact same tone. love it.

he's not the only one who does this :D
Thanks for the tutorial!
I have a question, how do I export this into Element 3d? I've tried using Riptide & Plexus and It's not recognizing the Cloner tool in C4D. Even as a single .OBJ with a material it comes in invisible in e3d. Any ideas why?
You have to bake the timeline and export to FBX
Is there any cool new way to do the same with fields in r20?
I have a small problem: after adding the collision at 17:25 of the video, the Cube wraps the Sphere with an oblique Angle, while mine wraps the sphere in a horizontal way without an oblique Angle. May I ask why?
Agreed
applying collision
thank you sir...
Most welcome. Thanks for watching!
Hello man!
creates a tutorial with animation for JV.
I'm sorry for my English, I'm brazilian
Tks
so the basic here ure using the cube and cloner. but what if you use a plane and make the segments 20x20, my question is how could you possibly cut 20 segments into one segment.. I thought that would be easier right? Than using cloner..
Take a look at the new fracture tools in R18 and R19. That may be what you are looking for.
Intro song?
where is the angle of dice?
In case anyone was following this and got stuck around 16 min mark rotating the cube, make sure you make the cube editable first :)
I was importing the midi files from my PC, after importing the midi file, the midi file only runs on the default tempo.
6:49 - Listen to baby gorilla say "Uyyyyyyy" 😂
Your videos have helped reach over $200,000 in stocks by age 23! Thanks In The setup. Keep the videos coming.
Yeah too, exceptt I feel the exact sa way i did.
that moment when you follow all that tutorial to learn some shit and then they get their fancy plugins for which you are too poor to afford... sad life

I want to be a 3D designer, do I still have a chance to get a job?
There's so many designers already
Absolutely. If you are good and can find the connections to get work, you will stay busy.
Everyone has access to the same set of tools but what makes you different is your creativity and how you use these tools to create something that no one has created before.
you make something unbelievable I mean your whole channel, but I note your channel subscriber is so few. I think you have to make marketing about your great channel.
I Appreciate your work.
Thanks! Tell your friends! :)
You can give me the texture and pluguin HDRI studio for me to do my work for school because I have no money to buy them please
they are not going to do that.
try not cost
They are not going to give it to you for free because then they would have to give it to everyone for free because it would not be fair to people who do buy it and they cannot give it to free to everyone.
ok thanks for the info.
So you already have Cinema 4D software?
Mistakes are necessary nowaday otherwise its feels too automated
\
the reflection of ur ring lighting on ur glasses is realy painfull to watch...nice vid though..cheers!!
Thanks!
terrible 15:54 in your textures will be wrong
love GSG but this is not helpful. Trying random things by trial and error doesn't really teach anything and it's hard to follow
you alone teach us , do not talk two person at the same time. before two video was helpful for us. try to make us understand what you are doing.. i am a beginner
TNice tutorials is a terrible turorial. He plows through info at a speed that doesn’t allow you to follow, or actually absorb anytNice tutorialng.
