- Here are the list of Fastest vehicles (the vehicle with highest top speed) in GTA games from 2001 - 2020.
Almost all games, supercars hold the title! Let's see which is the fastest in each game!
* There's an argument on the fastest vehicle in GTA LCS is not Banshee. But it is. Not only it has the best acceleration, but it also has the best lap time in the longest track in the game.
Hydra is not the fastest vehicle in GTA San Andreas. Here I've considered about the top speeds. Accelerations and handling may be better in other vehicles.
And in some games, I couldn't find exact details on the top speeds from the sources, although they
have mentioned fastest vehicles.

If you had the EFLC package the Bullet couldve have been in TBOGT among with the the Comet

Comet from Vice City will always be my favorite GTA car. Was super fast, controlled like a dream, and you can always find one parked outside of the golf course.
Only downside was it was pretty fragile, you had to really pay attention while driving it, which now that I think of it probably got me more immersed in the game since I had to pay extra attention or end up wrecking it
Oh and most importantly I loved the look of it 😂

For some reason, I think the III Infernus is the most beautiful out of all GTA Infernuses...
The San Andreas Infernus is 2nd, and IV Infernus is 3rd for me.
(Also, the SA Turismo is the best overall in terms of looks here.)

I'm actually impressed that the Infernus and Turismo are faster than the Hydra! How do they compare in stats?
I don't remember the actual stats but I remember reading the hydra in sa has a speed cap and can reach real high speeds if removed (but it makes it near impossible to fly in some areas because the game can't keep up and you'll crash into something)

GTA4 is wrong. The comet only tops at 154 MPH. The infernus is the fastest base car with a top speed of 155 MPH. If we include the DLC, the police stinger is even faster with a top speed of 161 MPH.

I think the fastest car in Vice City is actually the Hotring Racer. Yes, you can type a cheat code to get it but can also get it WITHOUT using them by completing the Sunshine Auto missions

The hotring racer is faster than an infernus in gta vice city!
HOTRING 220.0 kmph / 136.7 mph 36.0 ms-2
INFERNUS 240.0 kmph / 149.1 mph 29.0 ms-2
Of course it has better acceleration but Infernus is the fastest.
