Hi Maaike it's really helpful to see the shades on pale skin for me. I know by now what I do and don't wear, so in reality I probably use about 6 highlighters I own regularly. The Becca amethyst remains a favourite and I use it every time I do any sort of purple look. The living luminizer from RMS was a real surprise hit for me - it's described as a gold and yet never looks gold/too warm on my skintone. It's truly a glass skin effect and looks amazing on my super dry/mature skin. They do a pink version I have on my wishlist lol. The Catrice peony was a surprise real hit for me and I enjoy/wear it a lot too. Unlike yourself I really love a pure white or a super pale pink highlight and I wore Benefit high beam for years. I also have used the Laura Gellor diamond dust highlighter a ton in the powder version and my sister recently bought me the stick/cream version for my birthday - it has a white base with pink, blue and purple shimmer. Most highlighters I wear under my blush to give a softer effect, apart from the RMS lol. Really high beam highlighters are a bit too much for my skin and the lines I have near the eyes, so softer pearlescent products work better. I won't wear anything with glitter or really chunky shimmer. I don't wear peach, gold, white gold, champagne or anything warm toned. Truthfully until the RMS I had little interest in buying more highlighters, as I had what I needed and wore regularly (now I really want the pink version of the RMS and I'm saving up). I do really like the LG stick I got as a gift, but I wouldn't have bought it myself probably, although I'm enjoying using it (it's super quick/easy to use). I probably have about 15 highlighters altogether (including the loose products I still own from bare minerals) and I only use a small amount per application. I perhaps buy one a year or maximum two, so it's not a makeup category I'm constantly purchasing. Sometimes with a very dewy/glowy blush I don't even wear highlighter. Best wishes.
Nars Fort De France is definitely more of a champagne highlighter as opposed to a gold one. I've never looked at in the pan, swatched or on my face and considered it gold. But everyone is different I guess lol
I have a cool undertone. Things that look champagne on people look gold on me. Champagne Pop from Becca also never worked for me. Too dark and far too yellow for my undertone.
They only do Champagne Pop though? I don't believe Smashbox took over all the shades. It was only a select 2 or 3 products that they kept doing. And indeed. Smashbox is another struggling brand that has been taken of the EU market in recent months.
@@FloatinginDreams I saw like four shades, but that was here in the US. That really sucks that even Smashbox is losing their footing. They are good. Might explain why I am having trouble finding the covershot softlight palette.
I love my Fort de France. You definitely should repress the Sydney Grace in an eyeshadow pan. Woud make for a pretty inner corner shade. If I remember correctly I now own a pinky and a peachy version of that highlighter, need to check though.
I absolutely love your collection videos!!!😮❤😊 Excited for your March declutters!
Highlight is my favorite part of makeup!! Thanks for sharing. 🥰🥰

The Becca highlighters are at Smashbox now.
And Smashbox is being discontinued (in the Netherlands) as well.

And thanks to you I now have the pans to make that work!
