This was a great interview. I concur at the 8:45 - 10:45 mark. Picking the current level in play on the time frame you are trading, and then following a signal (pattern) in the direction of trend against that level is the secret sauce when scalping. You will find the setup works but making the trader manage risk, take every trade and stick to the simple rules is the real challenge.
As always good video Etienne (and Casey). You really pick people that share interesting and usable knowledge, even when they do not talk about their trading strategies in depth. It's helpful to hear about the struggles and challenges of other traders and how they deal with it. You cannot underestimate the value of having the right mindset in trading. Thank you. Also, cool hat 🙂
To many beginners start withdrawing early doors because they believe that profits will go on and on and on FOREVER . My advice : Think of withdrawing like taking draw down. Essentially you should treat your trading account as a retirement vehicle or something to compound for 10/15/25yrs+. If you keep withdrawing then you'll keep taking drawdown and eventually go bust because of the random distribution of wins and losses.
Etienne: "how do you think it's best to determine levels?". Him: 10 minute answer saying everyone needs to find their own ways. Can't tell whether this guy isn't actually a profitable trader, or whether he is trying to just avoid sharing his strategies.
I try to stay in cash, this moment. 19:33 if i cant do,then i dont have disipline. Strategi i dont focus on. I dont know why i just sence, buy that one , its about price and tendence,i dont keep a stock long, i realy hope i can do like this and make profit, its great funn, spesialy redusing losses, i dont get stressed by lousing monney, we all must do so.

He’s definitely right about the levels bc that’s how I trade. It’s simple but it works
