When I first heard "Mystline" (in samurai champloo) I really was expecting that the drums will hit at one moment. That could be the best seconds of my life, because the melody is quiet.. gorgeous. But Nujabes had another plan and it's even more awesome.
Ugh....those drums are HELLA Nujabes-esque...I love them.... Those kicks, snares, and hi-hats really sound so lo-fi x boom bap and it really does sound like drums Nujabes would program, so kudos dude :>
I may have expected a little more rhythmic games with the snare and I find it a bit strong compared to the other instruments of the piece of nujabes. But honestly on the whole it is really well done, the other drums correspond perfectly to his universe I just have one question for you, haven't you had any trouble with the law over the copyright of the original nujabes music? In fact I would like to rap on one of his compositions but I don't want to produce a song for hours, if it's to be removed from the streaming platforms within a few days :/ gg trad.. u know

But rhythmically I think this worked out really good which is why I posted it. Looking back on it now I agree that the snare choice was a bit heavy. My drum selection would probably be totally differently now but this was over 2 years ago and my ear is always changing/progressing. About the "rhythmic games" with the snare, I'm not really sure what you mean. Maybe you could lay some drums over the song yourself and show me. As for the copyright thing; my channel isn't monetized so I'm not making money by posting this, and the title says "Nujabes" not "Wolfbeard", so from my perspective it's not wrong in the sense that I'm not trying to take credit for creating anything. Hope that answers your question. My advice would be as long as you aren't profiting off of the music and you're clear that you don't own anything and you didn't create anything,, you're fine.
