    How much time is it for these 120kg guys to get sufficient pec/delt/shoulder mobility for that perfect squat grip? I can see a skinny guy having that grip but a beefier guy having it, it's not too easy. I have to imagine they worked on it intentionally.

    Surprised at the 120kg numbers thought they would've been bigger numbers. I train wighted squats like 1 time a month and squat 400x4. Not sure how my form is compared to theirs but i pride my self in clean reps.

      That is because powerlifting is about representing your Country. It's no longer an individual sport. Only 8 male and 8 female athletes per country can compete. Some countries are more competitive in powerlifting than others, which explains why there is a marginal difference between first and last. If anybody could compete with a qualified total regardless of country then the margin would be completely different. And also until you have proof of them taking illegal substances do not assume they are on anything until it's confirmed by WADA.

      Yea, its like any other event. You only run a 100 metres once, 3 to 6 attempts on jumps and throws.
