Bette and Cher made this routine look easy but it’s anything but! It looks like it was done in one continuous take. They’re chock-full of talent, personality and they’re true troupers.
....THIS, is why these Two are LEGENDS; an almost 10+ minute Medley, IN ONE TAKE, with different Musical genres & lyrics, and they BOTH pull it off with style, humor, CLASS, sexiness, & PROFESSIONALISM.....They ain't NUTHIN' like this anymore, Kids, APPRECIATE..... (7:22)

This was a SEMINAR LESSON on talent, craftsmanship, choreography, theatrics, and singing, plus the added value of a fantastic arranged voice harmonics by two impecable legends.

You know...Lady Gaga has been classically trained by a master Vocal teacher. We're talking that to be one of thier students is itself a rare accolade. World famous, in the circles that make up the community...they aren't someone we would know by thier fame or by being a performer...but put them in a room with top level classical performers...they are a master and these sorts take up only who they feel has the talent and the potential of being a voice in a generation...but you wouldn't automatically know it huh...or think she would be that remarkable...my piont is to not see the talent and ability in any generation especially the younger ones...is quite unfair and based as the kids today say...there isn't a change between them and now...the type of performer you credit these two remarkable women and there you are right, why wouldn't there be a few today...? There Idrena..I'd .oh the woman who did Wicked and Frozen and that's just one. Any qualities you think are somehow missing are there. But have you looked or just go with this nostalgic leaning cuz of your appreciation...cuz it's fine not to look but it's very unfair to then dismiss what you haven't tested out to see if so....or looked before making the claim...and you want a comparison of vocals ..Cher and Gaga did a duet that's not been released for sale but it can be listened too...I don't know don't ask me ..The Greatest Thing...try it...see how you feel after...and remember pleas Gaga is the one in a generation perhaps a Century with her total musicality... But there are many good artists that are lesser caliber but still excellent...and what I think you respond to which would be more about the performance, that you need to see them perform. But we are so lucky we have a huge accessable bank to look through...and don't have to so much discover, morem. oh what is the comparable, let the algorithm lead you? Oh and you might like Whitney vAvaline? Look for princess Rap battles and you'll find her...that's the older stuff she's been taking dings from Disney and the like and changing up the style...or if you want to hear something remarkable..Cherry the simulacrum lead of Studio Killers..the artist that she stands in for , she's cyber avatar like, can sell the song with her voice alone...

Cher was always so elegant and beautiful, always classy, even in her humor or risqué moments. Bette made a cute partner for this routine, two very talented and funny ladies.
Bette did all the vocal “heavy lifting” in this number. Reducing her to “cute” does them both a disservice.

I love this thank you!! But HOW did you guys remember THAT much material (lyrics, choreography, vocal harmonies/arrangements) for a weekly show? My GOD. The talent on that stage: two Golden Globe Winners, Two Grammy winners, Two Oscar Nominees (and one Oscar winner) AND IT SHOWS. Amazing. I NEVER missed a Cher show and my family knew I would scratch their eyes out if someone tried to change the channel!

Pretty much missed Sonny and Cher or Cher’s own show, either I was stuck in the sticks with one channel to watch which didn’t carry them, or I was in college and couldn’t afford a tv. I underestimated Cher; she could hold her own with the best of them.
