i said this in Nitestrike's most recent community post and ill say this here. The devs don't actually care when they say they do. during that reveal thing yesterday, they did not mention once about fixing anything their increasingly small fanbase want. No mention about fixing matchmaking. No mention about getting rid of region lock. They especially made me laugh when they said they are listening to player feedback, when they have never done that once, and it made me laugh hard at that statement for 5 minutes. I was a defender of this game for a long time. Then all the problems with season 5 happened and it made me rage quit halfway through the season. I'm looking forward to when Sparking Zero comes out and kills this game
I imagine they spent most of the time on the creation of baby. He has the most complex mechanics by far compared to all the previous raiders whose mechanics are simple and straightforward . Interacting and controlling civilians, controlling the survivor in their transformed state (who can still use the equipped super attacks.) once they completely become your servant, and making use of them like freiza does with dodoria and zarbon but can search the area like zamasu's Al. This director is also supposedly focused on fixing the main issues of the game like like connection issues, region lock, matchmaking, queue time, etc. if this is true I have no problem with the little content at the moment.
I would agree if not for the fact that his 4th form is just a reskin of Vegeta's level 4. Plus, his 1st form, while very cool, is just reusing the civilian's model with a few new animations. This raider does not seem like it required the entire season to be cut down just to make him.

He has a barrier like broly, AOE like goku black, can take control of bodies like ginyu just more than one (who can still use the equipped super attacks), friezas searching through zarbon and dodoria, servants will search the area like zamasu AI, ssj rose regular ki blasts. And who can say? Most game mechanics are simple compared to baby. Ginyu body switch , zamsus AI, and buus map change from absorption are best examples.

Funny thing is: They animated Super Galick Gun just for Oozaru Baby win screen, but didn’t ACTUALLY putted as a attack in the game and just did a Oozaru Vegeta re-skin
Baby is unique even though he is just an other version of Vegeta. Bulla should have been her own character with new skills and launch is kinda the only one that matters. i guess they didn't want to do new maps back to back. Launch (innocent) and Launch (Villian). we had to wait two weeks for this lack luster experience.

I love this game. I play it everyday since release. The best season was season 1: the producer did the only survey we had; the producer gave the best rewards (we had rewards via item codes also); no rank, no sweats, just fun. I think I can say that season 6 is the worste: no new episode (again); no new map; worste dragon tier ever (no survivor skin); art is mid; stamps are mid; emotes are mid; acessories are mid; the tshirt for rank reward are not even finished; Baby promotes body camping (so no revives, therefore more servants); level 2 strat is also promoted ( no supplies, so no divine water to unlock skills; survivors got nerfed to the ground; Baby looks op and mid at the same time (that's another Vegeta and another Ape so that would be expected); Baby's line are toxic or gross; problems with random crashes not adressed; problem with constant dc not adressed; region lock not adressed; problems with matchmaking not adressed; leaderboard is irrelevant because this rank system is a joke (you can be match with any kind of survivor levels; the game crashes over and over again and you derank because of it; more often then not; you don't start a match with 7 survivors, I'd say 5 players on average). I think, this time, the delay was because the work was not done and they had to come up with something, anything. This season, that will be on for 4 months, will just be pathetic.
I’d also recommend reading the patch notes for season 6. This shit is ridiculous, raiders got such a gigantic buff it’s insane. As a teaser: every raider has instant descent now with no cooldown.
MARK MY WORDS: The next Raider will either be Z Broly (very likely) or Bojack, because both of them can be reskins of existing raiders. (S Broly & Ginyu Force)
- Survivors start weak, and then get stronger by getting skills and items, that's why from mid to the highest levels, many Survivors by that point clearly outclass any Raider either thanks to escape tools, or hit and run tactics, all the while Raiders only get at most fixing patches and that's it, because they don't grow and stagnate. - Super Transpheres solve any issue any difficult match you aren't winning you might had, it's just a freebie against Raiders, and Raiders get nothing like this, obviously. - Lastly, outside game issues, we have a few hackers, plenty of feeders and the occasional disconnected Survivor/s. Since launch this issues have been adressed poorly at best. - Now imagine a Raider that can TAKE OVER Survivors. Disconnected ones are a free pass to losing even faster, (less Survivors to grab Civilians, hence faster loss) and feeder Survivors will have a PICNIC DAY throwing themselves at him, making you lose the game, most probably, specially at STM phase, where a lot of Tuffled Survs will make imposible to defend it. This entire post might sound nitpicky or whiney to new players. Yet, I'm tired of seeing issues get poorly fixed or outright ignored, like always. Feels like a new toy has come to town and I have to "shut up snd consume product" for me. Have a nice day and a cookie 🍪

His level one might be better than cyberman because he might not have a heartbeat but that's something well have to see. ALSO his map had massive potential to look so stunning and there is so much to go off but we get nothing 😭 we also could of had the black star dragon balls dude so much they missed out on... Of course some positives overall better than nothing but maaan

Considering Sparking Zero is in development, I can understand why there isn’t as much new stuff in this season. Besides, I think the patch notes they’re opening the season with make up for it (a bunch of raiders got buffed and survivors are probably losing dodge spam, THANK GOD FOR THAT SECOND ONE. 😂) As for recycled assets, I can forgive them for two reasons. Firstly, a producer left the dev team, so that probably shook up the process of making Baby for the worse. Secondly… It’s BABY! A character that possesses people like a parasite, especially Vegeta. I was really hoping Baby would be the next raider and subconsciously accepted reusing regular Vegeta’s animations and attacks as an inevitability I saw coming miles away. 😅
That level four is a joke also the Goku black strap just got even better supplies don’t come down until you reach level three now and that’s for all Raiders no new map and all the survivor skins are trash
I think this was there last chance. If sparking zero comes out. I think almost nobody will play it. To be honest I think I rather keep playing the Eldenring dlc. By the way, they didn’t show the dragontier list. Maybe it’s gone too because give us your money. That’s sad
