I purchased recently the Oakley Re:SubZero, because the design attracted me very much.
I noticed while wearing, that the sunglasses nearly slipped from my nose/head due to sweat. Though the temples have some rough surface, it's not sufficient enough. From my perspective this is a no-go for any glasses, which are designed for wearing while physical activities (e. g. sports). And low weight shouldn't be the core feature of those glasses. I was aware of an Austrian competitor of OAKLEY and its replacement parts. I ordered a few pairs of anti-slip rubber ends for temples. I cut them to a certain extent and attached them with very supportive medical lubricant and a towel (for better grip either for the rubber ends and the glasses itself).
Result: Now the glasses fit tight - even in sweaty or heavy shaking conditions.
Re:SubZeros are too expensive to be dropped to the ground and being damaged.
Anti-slip rubber ends recommendation for the Re:SubZero: www.gloryfy.de/en/accessories...
(I cut them behind the name of the brand.)

Thank you for the information. I was thinking of getting these for running, but now……not so much.

My experience is: without modification better wear it laying next to a pool or in a café 😉

Hi, Great solution. This also stops another design flaw. The plastic arm tips come into contact with the inside of the lens. This happens in the folded position. When the glasses are folded into a bag, or in a pocket, the tips of the arms scratch the lens surface. Oakley do not admit there is an issue. For me, they did not warranty replace them, I was offered a new pair at a reduced price. Buyers beware.

Thanks for your observations. To protect the glasses from the tips an additional glasses cleaning tissue, wrapped around the glasses, could be a practical solution.

are those real carbon fiber or just printing on plastic?

It's Oakley O Matter, which means a nylon composite. The carbon fibre look is only printing.

    So it’s not for cycling?

Hi! Prior my purchase I saw the video clip of OAKLEY presenting the new Re:SubZero and maybe influencer video content of these glasses from the Deep Dive in Dubai this year. All in those videos depicted activities, especially running, made the Re:SubZero appear to remain where it should stay.
My personal experience, and it was not only sports but easy gardening under the hot summer sun aswell, that the glasses slipped. I own a OAKLEY Jawbreaker, too, and had it with me touring 7 months Afghanistan a couple of years ago, its temples have more adhesive force to keep the glasses in really sweaty conditions on the head. If you're cycling on a road racer, with low impacts by vibrations, the Re:SubZero will likely stay on your head. Are you keen in mountain biking, I ain't sacrifice my hands to a fire. Since shooting my poor video I wore my modified Re:SubZero very often without any issues of moving sun glasses from the head.
I won't prevent any owner or intented owner from wearing it w/o anti slip rubber sleeves on the temples.
