We've been waiting for this for 1000 years, and finally we got it!
Wake up bae, Megacity Metro just dropped!
it's good to see that unity now focused on gamedev learning resources and engine development instead of wasting the company budget on useless companies and doing many other strange things....
what are those useless companies and strange things?

- Buy Ziva dynamics and nothing useful for unity developers, only 1 example of AI based facial animation with expensive price and only for corporative usage
- announce a lot of useless AI tools instead of fixing existing problems and adding fundamental things such auto LODs or other simplest stuff which should be built-in (soft UI shadows, shader graph new nodes for example: 3D noises, parallax mapping, edge detection etc)
- buy IRONSOURCE. So check news about ironsource.
Do you follow news about Unity at least sometimes? You should know about all of it and if you use unity you must know its problems

@@43yrsagoThey bought Weta digital tools a while back but recently layed off all the employees that would know how to integrate. They acquired Iron Source in some kind of internal struggle to prevent Microsoft from partnering or buying them out. Someone made a bunch of money in that deal and then left and the company they bought really has no way of making that money back for them so that's kind of why they have been so aggressive on trying to monetize where they should not be.
@@43yrsagofor one, IronSource, which is an ad company with questionable record
For two, Weta Digital, which itself is/was good. But became pretty much useless under Unity. Unity probably thought they could compete with Unreal if they have Weta in terms of filmmaking. But Unity itself still has a way to go for that to happen...
This is what my dream game looks like. New York City from The Fifth Element. Open world, flying cars, fully explorable.
So cool, I wanna learn it so much, thank you heaps!
"Angry neighbor"🗣️🔥
There is a few mechanics in here I could learn for a game im developing right now definitely gonna be taking a look at this
Thank You 🥸
THANK YOU UNITY. WOW
Would this help you to make an MMO styled game? something similar to RuneScape, nothing too complex, just loads of players on the screen at a time.
I am wondering if Unity can handle that, in RuneScape you sometimes have 100-200 players on screen
this is great!
It is
when will you make a learning series where you teach us how to make a full fleged game. i have learned most of c# and have completed your junior course. now I want to make a advance game with advanced topics like inheritance, polymosphisim etc. will you guys be launching a series like that in future?
Unity have too many game development tutorials with OOP on their learning platform and we could also see the most advanced composition example with Unity Open Project 1. We will never be able to create a high-performant large and complex open-world multiplayer game like V Rising if we use C# with OOP to make it, hence DOTS. Unless you want to make a much smaller game
What genre game are you interested in?
The project is a full game. You should take a look at how it is structured. Play it a little and try and figure out how a few systems are structured. Make a few minor but 'interesting' changes as practice.
However, once you've gotten the basics done like you have, eventually you just have to jump off the cliff and start making a game. You can't learn everything in advance. Try and make the game small, simple, but interesting to you.
Looks amazing!
Will the webinar be archived? Really wanted to join but I will be busy on 27Mar😭

@@itsmerishi02 & @rathodketan5551 Hello! 👋
Great idea on the development video! We'll keep that in mind next time we launch something like this. If you're curious to learn more, join us for the Megacity Metro webinar on March 27! Here's the link to sign up: create.unity.com/megacity-metro
Let us know here if there's anything specific you'd like to see.
Okay thanks 🥹 for showing concern

This will change 😮 every thing 🧐
you mean "every-thing"? or am i dumb
@@tim_developer actually i am 🤣 i was typo
Please make a tutorial about how to make it from scratch
I made multiplayer game.....
Enjoyable music, but for me it is a bit like for different game.
It suffers the comparison with the Matrix city demo from 2 years ago that was much more impressive.
Yeah, but may be it doesn't need high-end systems to run.
It is made with URP with performance and scalability in mind, how is it even comparable to Matrix city demo? Can Matrix demo even run on mobile?
@@osmankerimli6710 my phone can run it at 0.01 fps and i have to hook my phone up to my local power station
no it is really 2 different things, matrix demo is not a MMO demo, just a single person beautiful unreal showcase demo (yet boring after like 15 minutes but very impressive)
Unity suffers from Benjamin Button Syndrome
Where is ECS Animations?
It exists?
