My Brother printer worked fine yesterday and all the days prior and now today it says it's offline. My computer is connected to the same modem. All the steps you mention are a yes on my printer. Still offline. Our network is working just fine. I unplugged my printer and plugged it back in and rebooted my computer. Still offline. Very frustrating.

@@printertales4781 Thanks but we rebooted our modem and after that my Brother printer then came online again! Before rebooting our modem, our computers were still working just fine! I don't know why the printer went offline. But I'm OK now.

Didn't help. Yesterday I was able to print and today it is offline. Consider my printer is wired to my laptop - not wireless connection. Your video demonstration has a different interface than my PC laptop. The printer power is on yet it my laptop is reading it as offline?

Same here but I rebooted my modem and then my printer came online.

i don't know why someone cannot create a printer that just works all the time without getting confused. it is so old spending over a half an hour troubleshooting problems with printing. i am using a usb and i printed yesterday and now it is 'offline'. i feel like taking this junk printer and throwing it outside on the concrete as time is money and it is draining time from me. i have only had this thing for less than a year. and print on it minimally. and it cannot even do that. stop making all these useless crappy features and just give us a printer that prints when we hit print and then we are good.
