- If we take a carboxylic acid and replace the OH with other groups, we can get different carboxylic acid derivatives. There are lots of ways to form these, and they have a variety of different applications, so let's take a look at a few now!

Bro i literally JUST learned this in my summer lecture today. You come in clutch Professor Dave.
A very clear explanation professor 👌🏽
Great explanations. Thanks for this review.
Hello, Professor. I have a report on functional derivatives of carboxylic acid. I would like a source or books that talk about them. Can you help me with that please?
a summary...very helpful
Great video....
Thank u bro
my test is tomorrow. if i pass this you'll officially be my hero
Professore lei è un uomo utile
Prof. You are one of the most smartest as well as handsome man in this world.
You are my idol.
You are like a god to me.
May god bless you ❤️
good for review preparation for exams
Why do the acidic acid forms in luminary position. The gradients per capita centrifigue is
What's the answer to that practice problem of comparing acidity of those two carboxylic acids?
im 99% sure its the acid chloride because it is closer to the double bond. Would need @professordaveexplains to confirm.
I'm in medical school and done with the MCAT and Ochem. Why do I still watch these?
For Professor Dave of course! :D
stockholm syndrome
You fell on your head and now you THINK you are in medical school but subconsciously you know you are in highschool thus you are watching this video.
Because chemistry is important. Thus, you can solve an elementary question about if chlorine dioxide is toxic or not without a help of a chemist.
Bc medical students/pre meds love torture
Sir Nice explanation.Love from India 🤎

I've finished this. But i don't have idea what did i just watched lmao. I am so slow in chemistry

Do carboxylic acid do combustion reactions
?
Yes they do! They undergo combustion to from carbon up use and water.
However, this happens only when more extreme conditions are used, because its lone carbon is already fully oxidized.
anything will given even heat and oxygen
Sir please make a vedio on laws of motion class 11th chapter 5
i did that, check my classical physics playlist
Thanks a lot sit
He doesn't teach the Indian syllabus so mentioning chapter number makes no sense.
Lobodobo yes
@@kushagrasharma6541 I saw some guy legit asking him to teach in hindi
So NH2 with carbonyl called amide but with alkyl amine? just to be sure and refresh my memory
Thank you for the video.
yes correct!
Oh professor you look so handsome with your short haircut❤❤❤
The first video without long hair!
Can someone pls help me with the naming:CH3CH2CH2CH(CH3)CH2COOH
And the drawing if possible
Second
Not clear
Pop that pi bond up, t-shirt quote 😉
