Choose a block you want for your indicator, such as a partially built window, wheel, piston head, etc. Once you have the block (or series of blocks, if you desire), make a blueprint of it. Then load the blueprint into a projector and align the projector with your targeting camera. Recommend doing some long range fire testing to get the location of the projection lined up more accurately.

space engineers will simply never bother implementing any complicated systems that actually encourage engineering. only writing code for custom scripts.

Use Ronin's Suspension Manager for your wheels. It's a script. It should help with those problems resetting your suspension. If you want to use it with automation in timer blocks, it works via script arguments or manually from a menu in your cockpit.
Railguns are pretty accurate, the projection is directly in front of the camera and the camera is only 1 block from the railgun itself so I don't have to aim off very far
@@defechan7486 38 MW, small grid batteries have high enough output to reasonably power the grid. Even in creative power requirements remain. As the grid does not shut down in creative, it means that the overall output of the rover is enough to charge the railgun (whether it has the storage to do so several times is up for debate, I estimate 10 firing cycles on those batteries).
@@defechan7486 Well from what I remember, batteries take approximately 10 minutes at full drain to empty. This means that if u have enough batteries to supply 38 MW of output, then they will drain after 10 mins of constant output (takes a minute to recharge for each shot so its 10 shots)

i think outside of creative the power consumption would kill a rover of that size. One shot and it shuts down.
