The only part of this movie that made me scratch my head was...
They know where the nukes are as the silo doors opened, their not armed yet, and haven't exactly launched yet.
... So why did the movie do a dramatic pause, when they were just going to destroy the building anyway??
I get that Harp HAD to meet up with Leo again, but all in all... those missiles weren't going to take off regardless.
Also Leo have rebelling against Humanity for the vision he saw Robots being treated as garbage and tools to the Armed Forces so Leo is not human but also a android hid his own goal to nuke the US mainland Krasny and Resistance have that goal but Resistance blame the US for not helping or sending any foreign troops to held against Russian advance but it's their war not them also Leo had mind to get the US attention to declare war and blaming both the Resistance and Russian/Krasny with for the destruction on US soil but didn't happen till Harp saved the day killing Leo before he stops him from launching the nuke which ultimately destroy the Missile but it armed itself using predator missile from its Drone

The difference is that the Russian army have the most powerful electronic warfare system which can suppress, drones and UAV's, they also already use AI in said electronic warfare , air defense systems
and drones to some extent, the only issue is that such weapons cannot be fully domestically be produced and massive investments will be needed to rectify such a problem, the US also possess such capabilities but with a 33 trillion debt with 5% interest rate additionally with nearly a trillion dollars in annual budget, more focus on maintaining weapons then improving new ones, meaning that a collapse of the dollar would be more than enough to eliminate US as a superpower,other countries which would be still be using the dollar would face a financial crisis

russia can claim to have all kinds of weird super power stuff, but in reality its just a corrupt shithole with nothing to show for it

this movie looks amazing. I like the plot twists. Definitely autonomous robots will be fighting wars sadly.
It will probably be closer to the first Deus Ex game. And by the first one I mean the FIRST one. Has some interesting robot designs. Simplified enough AI. One part of the game had people talking about how an old lady was gunned down when shopping at night during curfew. This is going to become a reality some day.

It simply can't last that long regardless. Russia will lose the war of attrition somewhere in 2025-2026 if the west keeps supporting Ukraine. If not, Poland is next on the chopping block.

Russia isn't capable of fighting a war for that long. Their military is already falling apart and they cannibalized their oil industry to finance the war through sanctions. Unless India suddenly becomes an economic superpower and the Rupee replaces the dollar Russia is going to fall apart before we get involved in any meaningful way.

I’m already confused. Why would everyone reject the idea of the drone pilot destroying an unidentified truck speeding towards US ground troops? The truck could’ve been filled with explosives and would’ve killed everyone there.
It is standard practice that whenever anything that could be interpreted as a war crime is committed by US troops, the leadership will throw the lower enlisted troops under the bus when UCMJ gets involved.
As the truck had not been positively identified as a lawful combatant, destroying the truck that could be a civilian constitutes a possible war crime to be investigated.
In real life on the other side of the spectrum,
It is the same situation that the Russian infantry on the BMP roadblock faced in west Bucha when they had less than 3 seconds to confirm whether the person that just rounded a corner on a bicycle coming straight at them had an RPG or not. Since within 3 days there had already been 2 ambushes coordinated by unlawful combatants and a full squad of Territorial Defense soldiers had already been captured and executed for illegally hiding among the civilian population in civilian attire, the Russian response in that place and time had escalated to shoot first ask questions later, just like what the drone pilot in this movie did. Unfortunately the person on a bicycle IRL turned out to be a local nurse coming home from her shift.

It was more about violating chain of command. Team on the ground had authority over the strike, and he disobeyed an order. One that resulted in dead us soldiers.
A vehicle moving that fast towards ground troops is always a target. A normal civilian isn’t speeding towards a battlefield. It’s not like it was a patrol, but an active engagement.

In the sense that if they see a John Wayne or Clint Eastwood or Paul Newman type, for a foreigner with animosity against us it would be easier to kill as just another American.
