Some events in your life split it in half. Since it's happened, your will forever sort memories into 'before' and 'after.' And you have to move on from that.
You want things to go back to normal. But they can't. This is the new normal. And this sucks. But what're you supposed to do. Really, what're you supposed to do? Talk about your feelings? Journal? Get therapy? Move on? That seems to be what they all expect. They offered sympathies and help for the first week or two. Then they seemed almost annoyed that you weren't totally fine and dandy. You tried to explain that you needed time. You really tried. But no one understood. They kept calling and texting, wanting to hang out or go have fun somewhere. You tried to explain that you couldn't. Physically and mentally, you weren't prepared to do anything but the basics. Eat, get a shower, sleep. That was it. That was all you could manage.
They didn't understand.
So, you stopped answering calls and texts. You did your best to disappear. And it worked. After a while, a lot of your friends forgot you existed.

heyyyy my dear queen. This audio was very beautiful and sweet. I understand the fear of change. it is scary when old things change and you have to adapt to new things. But each change that you manage to overcome also makes you stronger than before. i‘m facing some changes now too and some big challenges. but thx to the support of my close friends and my family i manage to get through it even though my body feels like a total mess (i even lost a few kilograms in just the past days because of mental stress). but i‘m staying strong and positive. i know right now i sound like everyone else who is just telling that it will get better, but things really are going to get better. it always does. i‘m speaking from my own experience.
anyways the phone call sound was really good. and it fit well with the situation you described in the description (a lovely read btw). very well done my Queen. the acting was sweet too as always.

This made me feel the weight ive had my heart. Three years since I've last spoken to any of IRL friends. Had a really bad argument with one, other had a kid to focus his time on, and the last one, she hasn't reached how to me exactly. I, I miss them, but I don't know if that feeling is mutual anymore. And that answer is the most frightening thing.
And this, this kinda lifts some of it off, even if it's not real, and I thank you. 🐀
