Hello Gursahib ji. Thank you so much for sharing your insights and portfolio allocation. It looks like you have a sharp focus on diversification between various asset classes. However, I believe you are spread too thin between all those asset classes to gain optimum returns. I feel like a simple allocation of 70:30 with 70% in large cap companies ka ETF and 30% in debt assets (like Govt bonds), or any proportional split between just 2 asset classes would be ideal. I would also buy gold on top of this split, but I would invest in physical gold bars and not gold ETFs. I’d love to know your thoughts on this!
I respect you brother in terms of giving info. about following people on youtube. Not every influencer or youtuber has the right knowledge and they end up selling courses and coaching but If you know the market well then you can make wealth thats for sure… I have had made 5x of my money. Look NIVDIA since 2018 20x. Do your own research and don’t follow anyone on social media like herd mentality what stock to pick.

My first medical was done on 31 Jan 2023 for work permit. Now my company has informed me to travel by 31-March-2024. and in CICS, the medical is still showing valid even after 12 months.
As a backup plan, i got my medical re-done on 15-Mar-2024. I'm aware it may take sometime to reflect in CICS. I have raised a webform raised too.
but just asking, if i should get the tickets booked for 30-Mar-2024. Will immigration allow me to work from there?

Bhaijaan, you don't need financial planner if you contribute $500 in index funds every month, so just need discipline and you will become wealthy and successful.. Concept of compound interest makes you rich..not how much you know about investing..I agree you don't need to spend so much time in where to invest, just simply invest in some proper ETFs and diversify as much as you can
That is what I also do…but investing $500 every month does not make anyone rich…I just gives a security after 25-30 years.
Please don't tell people "Stop Investing". The security you mention here is important for everyone. Also "rich" is very subjective.. Someone may feel rich with 500k cad but someone else may feel poor even with 5M CAD.

@@GursahibSinghCanada anyone with 0 knowledge about stocks can make a lot of money if he just invests 10% of his income into mutual funds he hust need sto invest 35% in an index fund, 40% in an flexi cap fund and 20-25% depending on risk tolerance into small cap funds. After 10-20-30 years he will be sitting in crores. But it needs time to compound so everyone should start as soon as possible and not when they start making good money. Sips can even be started as soon as 500rs a month. Starting 2-3 years can make a very big difference in the total amount. Check out any video on compounding.
Don’t know who Rajesh jhunjhunwala is. Read up on Peter lynch, mohnish pabrai,John boggle. Compounding indeed works wonders . The earliest you start investing the better it’s going to be for you in the long run.

The idea is career path or pass time. If you actually learned the trade, are competent in it and know what you are doing awesome. If its a hobby or a side hustle be wary. A lot of it is prediction (even when its well calculated and a smart decision) as no one knows how its gonna turn out.
Just take well calculated and thought out risk that YOU know are not going to hurt you in short or long run.
Hi Gursahib, your video is good in terms of allocation in Canadian market. I would say invest in Indian market as I have been investing since long and have seen market moving good, also foreign investors are moving towards India so consider that for your upcoming allocation.

If you're new to Canada don't bother investing in TSX. It's super sluggish.
Investing in the Indian market is good but might hurt with the fx. The best option is the US market for Canadian residents.

Don’t invest in mutual funds in Canada. Mutual funds are very expensive . Very high MER. Get low cost etfs.
