Clarification on ‘the blind people’.. 😂 I meant the 3 day blinds salesperson was coming to the condo to do a measurement, quote etc. That’s what I was referring to. Window covering s 😁 my apologies for not being more clear

Powdery mildew. Wash the leaves with water and a few drops of gentle dish soap. Easy on the water and natural light.

Agree. Powdery mildew. Also try not to water your succulents too much (thick leaf plants). They are similar to cactus that will rot if over-watered.

I absolutely live this type video.
The current events in Afghanistan, Whitehouse, our country and in our city has been just too much. Too much death, violence, anger. In our City a person has been shot and killed almost daily. Its been getting to me. Lots of prayers.
Oaklynn might like an art easel. The double sided kind she can draw on one side and paint on the other.

You have such a beautiful family! I'm so grateful I stumbled upon your channel. (Thanks for the recipe too!) I never ever saw Thousand island dressing in a taco salad! But, now, I'm anxious to try this!
I live in PA and fortunately, grew up around Mennonite and Amish communities and still live among these super fun and kind people. 90% of our shopping is done with Amish and Mennonite farms, markets, butcher shops, small businesses, farm stands, etc and I wouldn't want it any other way. Some of my most very favorite people run these farms and markets.
I think it is very important that we have CZcams channels like yours for many reasons but, a very important reason is so that people see how super awesome you and your communities are!
    Thanks for sharing your world!

When my daughter was Oaklyn's age she would always color on the wall. One night her dad and I went out for a date night, my grandmother was watching the kids. We walked in the door to my daughter's masterpiece all over the wall. My grandmother hadn't even noticed. After that we put all writing utensils in a bin on top of the fridge then would supervise her when she wanted to color. She's now 22 and a fine arts major in college. My profile pic is one of her art pieces. Maybe Oaklyn is a budding artist.

These are my fave videos of yours…just home life, hanging with your family, shopping…a day in the life. I would be careful moving plants a lot. They like their homes and don’t like to have to repeatedly adjust to atmosphere around them. Try baking soda on water on the powdery leaves. If they are really bad, prune those leaves and clean the others. Be careful. That fungus spreads. Oaklynn is ADORABLE! My husband loves her name and thinks she is the cutest thing!

Then add colored chalks , washable paint , pens , crayons , a roll of old wall paper or lining paper tp draw on and some magnetic alphabet letters and you're good to go ! Spray Neem oil and repot with fresh dirt if you choose to use the same container bleach it or soak in hot water sometimes you may have to add hydrogen peroxide 3% to the dirt if it's not in good shape or the soil stinks. Note: do not let the peroxide touch the leaves of the plant and add water right after

Also, get some small packets of Play Doh with molds, and finally some WASHABLE markers, big art pads, crayons and coloring books for her to "write" with. Make it a rule that the Play Doh is when sitting at the table (and not carrying it all over the house) and there won't be surprise messes! Lol We found a used play kitchen with tons of accessories on F.B. Marketplace, in like-new condition, for a great price. I think it's a pretty common item to resell.

They are markers that only draw on their specific paper. They are amazing and my son can color for as long as he likes without me worrying about getting marks everywhere. Also, Melissa and Doug make Water wow pads which is coloring with a water pen. My son loves those as well. I also bought a huge bag of oversized Pom poms (too big to put in his mouth) and a large bag of colored pipe cleaners and he loves throwing them around and twisting the pipe cleaners. Super cheap and hours of entertainment 😂 he is super into puzzles as well. He is also a book lover and ‘reads’ to himself all the time. If you are looking for an outside toy, my son loves his water table!

Do you have puzzles and toys that are logic thinking in her age range? Duplo...the food that sticks together with velcro...eg icecream, hamburger, pizza etc.....threading wooden beads large obviously)onto a string... things like that. Homemade playdough...bits and pieces to stick onto card (age appropriate) with a glittery gluestick. Hope these ideas help. Also, weren't some of those houses on your 'cruise' with Oaklynn to die for!
Omgosh she has so grown up! I loved the way when you asked her if she liked her cheese and she immediately said ahhhh ha as in yes! So cute!

Lynette, I love your videos, this was a fun one! Your plant you mentioned that was in the bathroom, you didn't like the way it looked, but I think it looked beautiful and healthy from my end of the video! Your children are all so adorable and fun to watch! Oaklynn is getting so big! I miss my kids being that little, they grow way too fast! Enjoy that time!!! I know you do:)

  • @michelleliquoriross3790

You may want to take a picture of your plant and take the photo to where you bought it and see what they say. It looks like mildew. I'd use a soft cloth, clean the leaves with dish soap and water, pull the plant from the soil, and rinse the roots gently to remove as much dirt as possible. Repot in a new pot cleaned with bleach water, rinsed well, and dried. Fresh, sterilized potting mix and see how it goes. I learned the hard way that if you have excess potting soil hanging around, you should keep it in a container with a lid, not the bag. I would think being in Florida (I'm in Alabama), it would be essential to keep it dry with the level of humidity. Keep us posted; it's a lovely plant.

Your baby is so cute. There are washable markets, and some that u fill with, water and color in the picture. Ikea has an easel with 2 sides since you have to budding artists. A leapfrog for car rides teaches letters and sounds, and stories. A push car or tricycle is also a great idea. Your plant could have mealy bug, powdery mildew, or spider mite. Didn't get a very good look. Not enough air circulation, too much water or to dry. Lots of organic remedies online.

Thankful for my 7 grands although they all live in different states from us so we don't get to see them often. I appreciate your encouragement during these difficult days we experience in this world.

Mix a small amount of a mild dish detergent with water and wash off your plant with a sponge or paper towels. If using a sponge throw it away after. Isolate your plant from the other plants.

I really enjoyed this video. You can buy rolls of paper from IKEA, she's telling you she won't be confined to a small white piece of paper. hehe. I would be buying her construction toys like Duplo, large foam blocks etc. Let her build cubby houses with old sheets. She has a creative brain and needs the whole house to play with.

If you can't find a way to get pen , sharpie marker, regular marker, crayons....off of certain things, I found Mr. Clean magic eraser takes everything off..... I worked at a gas station once and someone used sharpie markers on tge gas pumps, obscene language, on a porus surface.....the erasers took it all off. Just a thought. 😁😁 your children are absolutely adorable!! Love your vlogs!
Also for little girl toys, my girls loved stringing wooden beads on the rope, the beads were colorful, and about tge size of grapes, and there were different shapes, as well as square one....lacing beads I think they were called, my daughter's loved their little miniature that sets, and little mini kitchen pots n pans, with plastic fruit and vegetables .
And a wooden matching game, with animals, flowers and bugs, like a card game only wooden block like pieces, they also would build with them, it's boy or girl friendly too.......oh my grandma made them a little fabric swatch patches, they played forever with them, they were scraps from her sewing, she cut all the same size, they were colorful, with all different textures, and patterns. Great church toy!!

A play kitchen is a great idea. It will interest her for YEARS. At first it’s just mimicking play but then it will turn into imaginative play time. It’s also great for her to play by herself or with little interaction from you. I even put ours in or near the kitchen as that is the place I often needed to work while my daughter played. I got a little kitchen for my oldest grandson 10 years ago and it has gone through 7 grandkids and the 4 & 6 year olds still play with it all the time.

o may also like a shopping cart with groceries in it for toddlers to push around the house. Put the groceries away in her play kitchen that you said might get her. A play broom and dust pan, vacuum cleaner, If she doesn’t have a play table chairs for drawing and coloring where she can learn to draw and color at. My grandson has a Fire 10 Tablet that I purchased from Amazon. With fun educational age appropriate programs. He has a little comfy chair he sits in for Tablet Time. Very entertaining…

We live in GA and our weather is pretty much the same as yours. We built our grandkids a mud kitchen. We used sandbox sand. They played for hours with the sand and water. Look them up on Pinterest. As skilled as you and Nick are it would look adorable. Best part about it, it all cleans up with the hose, including the kids. Hardly cost anything to make. We used scrap wood and crates. Old kitchen bowls, pans, wooden spoons and play dishes.

You can fix your sofa that is faded from the sun. Find a leather restoration kit. Obviously test the color in an inconspicuous spot. Once you are sure it matches, do the rest. You will be surprised how well it works.

I highly recommend do-a-dot daubers and they have little workbooks or even can print free worksheets online. Also paint sticks that dry instantly. Lots of crafts, stickers etc. Dollar store has great selections that are affordable.

Lynnette- my 3 grown daughters LOVED their kitchen set and dishes….complete with a shopping cart and play food! Another good activity is play dough with cookie cutters, plastic silverware, and anything that can be used for making shapes. My youngest (who is now 33) always loved anything coloring, markers, colored pencils, and crayons….however, water color painting was a hit for a good craft. Oh, and no worries, Oakland will grown out of coloring in everything😉. Just look at it in a positive way-she’s very creative, which is a great skill!
