    This is exactly the pattern I've been looking for. Just purchased it. Perfect wallet for a man.
    Thank you so much for sharing. Very easy to follow!

      @@SewingSeedsOfLove I'm also going to make your Haru tri-fold wallet. I purchased that pattern as well.

    This is the most perfect I've seen so far. Easy to follow, room for everything, a variety of different styles in one wallet that you pointed out. Many versatile ways to make and exchange and interchange features. I must do this one right away. Thanks for so many ideas. Keep on designing!!!

    Hello, i wanted to tell you that the way you make the cc holder is the easiest way i have seen it done. Thank you. I am hoping to finish this up by Monday.

    Is there a way to add a zipper around the whole wallet so everything is enclosed? I’m assuming I’d just make the body a bit bigger to accommodate. But is there anything else I’m not thinking of?

    • @SewingSeedsOfLove
      @SewingSeedsOfLove  Před 2 lety +1

      It would be a very different way of construction and not what I have in mind for this wallet. Zip around wallet is what you would be looking at.

    Tried to make this wallet for a man, and you should have warned before I bought the pattern that this design is not for thick fabrics. I used a slightly thick fabric and it does not work at all.

      Sorry that this didn’t turn out well for you. But did you not read the section “Fabric Considerations”on page 6 of the pattern? It was clearly stated to use thinner fabrics for this pattern?

      I’m going to try a vinyl on the outside; but I expect to have problems. Making a wallet for hubby and it’d be easier to get in and out of his pocket that way.
      Thanks for the video-I can refer to that as well as the written instructions!!

      @@vanceandbonnieneuberger8881 avoid a thick vinyl. 0.8mm and less is good.

    It's funny that you call this a men's wallet, when the fabric shown is clearly womens. This looks like it would be a perfect wallet for a woman.

      Thank you for your comment. You do realize that if I am using monotone colours for the men’s wallet, it would have been very difficult to follow along this video tutorial - that is, to tell the right side from the wrong side. I have plenty of wallet samples in my product link to show case this as a men’s wallet. sewingseedsoflovestudio.com/products/zen-bifold-wallet-pattern

      Also, I want to show that it is possible to create this wallet from purely cotton fabrics. I have used vinyl and polyester combinations for the men’s version. Again, such fabrics are difficult to tell the right side from the wrong.

      Ah, now I see. Actually, I am glad that you showed it in a feminine patterned fabric & also in cotton. These are what drew my interest. I've been looking for just the right pattern to replace my wallet but don't know how to sew with leather or vinyl, being a beginner sewist. I checked out your website and now am torn between the Zen & the Bloom Slender Wallet. But the Bloom calls for a Teflon foot which I don't have.

      @@Sheri... the Bloom and the Zen are very different in style and construction methods - one’s a raw edge pattern, the other is not. One is longer and slimmer and the other is shorter. Are you a heavy or light packer? 😊
