- This is a simple, minimalist looking bifold wallet that comes with 6 card slots, a zipper pocket, 4 compartments, and an ergonomic wristlet strap.

Finished wallet measurements : Approx 7 3/4" x 4" (when folded)

2 x Fat Quarters or 2x 1/4 yard of cotton fabric (Fabric A main fabric, Fabric B coordinating fabric) tidd.ly/3gqwXTa
Decor Bond 809 10" x 10" (alternative : decovil, fusible fleece/thermolam or any mid-heavy stabilizer) *note : if you use fusible fleece your wallet will turn out on the softer side
1/2 yard Fusible Woven interfacing (20" wide) amzn.to/2PXNe5X

This is the fourth wallet I've made from your design studio. I love them all! I made this one with the lining fabric I used for the jeans crossbody bag. Made them both in one day. I like that it's slim, yet holds what I need it to hold and fits in the jeans bag very nicely (horizontally, even). Thank you for your clear directions, your exquisite and very useable designs, and for making them free. Sometimes I just watch these videos with no intention of making the project. I just like the process and the way you explain it. lol
Wonderful tutorial.. You Explain everything well and dont miss any steps but its also not drawn out any more than it needs to be. I just came from a 30 min long video that i skipped after 3 mins bc everything was so drawn out i couldnt imagine sitting through the whole thing and paying attention lol. but i watched this whole vid no problem.thank you !!

First off, I want to say I absolutely love this pattern. One thing that I did discover, which I wish I had known before sewing the flap together or on the front, if you are using magnetic snaps for your closure, you need to install the male part to the flap before you sew it together. So please be aware of this if you are following the video since it does not mention this.
Hi. Im a beginner sewer. At which point do u need to put on the magnetic snap. I was ready to cut and start sewing till I read your comment. TIA
@@kalmyluv You install the male snap at step 24 before you sew the flap together. You will then install the female end at step 27 as per the instructions.

Your instructions were pretty easy to follow and I love the finished product! One suggestion I would give is to put all the fabrics piece measurements at the beginning so the viewer can be sure to have all the pieces cut and ready to go at each step.. I had to keep getting up to cut more pieces as the video went along. I also wish to wristlet tutorial had just been included here. I didn’t find the link.
