***** Calm yourself, natural acts of humanity can result in dire consequences, if you don't have moments of weakness then you are either not human or a filthy liar... Also you are painfully bored and incredibly uninteresting, and by now.. definitely offended. Regardless, you don't get it anyway. Marriage or not you cannot judge the act of somebody if you know NOTHING of their personal life. Do not think you know JACK SHIT about their life because certain details of their life have become public. This man knows his own life, his mistakes, his successes.. Not you

In many respects, Magic Johnson was the greatest thing to happen for the education of HIV and AIDS awareness. It pursuaded people to do more research on the disease open their eyes to the facts of the virus and disease. It was such a taboo subject before Magic came out and this made it more comfortable to talk to.

As a lifelong Celtics fan, fanatic in the 80s, I was absolutely crushed when this happened. I'm not kidding when I say that Larry&Magic pretty much made my teen years for me. That rivalry, lead by these 2 men, was awesome.Showtime was everything:scary, fun to watch, just a brilliant team, and of course my blue-collar Celts with Larry,Chief,&Kevin.Oh, those were great days!Highlight of 08 Finals was seein Magic on TV again.Greates Laker ever, and that's saying a lot.My fav, anyway.

Magic Johnson is one of the most admirable sportspersons and celebrities in the world, he is an example of character, of positiveness and he had it all fame, fortune, good looks, and the love from people.
Im sure his example has awared many people about the risks of aids, and probably saved many lifes. And for those who have it, it has been probably a huge moral support.

It's nice to know watching this 20 years ago today that Magic's coming revelation of his HIV diagnosis broke down the wall regarding the subject of HIV/AIDS with regard to awareness and debunking the myth regarding the cause of the disease and making it more easier to talk about in society. More importantly he took the news with a positive attitude and despite the odds, he is still alive and well on this planet today. Magic wasn't just a fantastic athlete, but he's a great human being.
