“You’re a squirter” I died laughing especially at Austin’s face, hahahah! I don’t like needles, but I’d love to try this!
I’ve done this and it didn’t do anything for me. Insurance wouldn’t pay for it and it was done in my doctors office for $170.00 a week! I was good after the first time and felt zilch afterwards.
I'm terrified of needles and so I was afraid I wasn't gonna be able to watch it but with them making jokes and laughing, I was actually able to watch it and laugh with them!!!
The amount of laughter in this video was infectious 😂
I am a NICU nurse and I have stuck lots of little feet but never an adult. I’ve also worked at an infusion clinic. I know exactly how she was feeling. She was awesome. Love you guys!
I’m an adult… I have had them fail to put a catheter in my feet a couple times.
As an adult preemie, I want to thank you for doing what you do. I was born @30 weeks in ‘84.

Little over the top
This was hilarious. I have been poked and prodded so much, they have a hard time starting an iV on me. I went in for carpel tunnel surgery and explained I dehydrate fast so I need an earlier surgery time. They didn’t believe me. They scheduled me for 1:00 pm. Took them over an hour to get an iV in me. The anesthesiologist had to do the iV and had to put it into my neck. The surgeon and anesthesiologist were so mad. I told the doctor that I had told the scheduler about my dehydration issues, but she didn’t believe me. My issue is now In my chart and won’t happen again.
I’m glad they put that in your chart, but it’s unfortunate that they did it after you told them 😢
I hate it when the employees in the Medical industry don't listen to the patient. Especially those of us who have been through medical procedures before. I told a tech it is easier to hit my right arm, the gains are better. And she said it had to be my left arm and just shook her head and said she was a pro and could find any vain easily. After 4 literal stabs at it I said no more, get someone else to do my right arm. And the second tech came in and found a vain on the first try. I was so mad. But happy because I told both ladies they should listen when we tell them things we know our bodies better then they ever will.
Same issues although mine are just from overuse and scarring (not from me but years of the medical lot poking and prodding), although ive been pretty lucky and most ask in the UK which arm is best!
In your neck! That would be a hard pass for me and rescheduled the surgery. Bump that noise. When I went into labor with my second and last child the anesthesiologist had to start my I.V. after being used as a pin cushion. He placed it in my hand, sorta in the side/bend of where my thumb/and wrist meet! The difficulty to hold my baby and feed her was difficult with that in my wrist the entire time.
"Oh, you're a squirter!" I laughed so hard I had tears! I wonder if they have this in Norway. I have chronic migraines (I had 23 days of migraines in April) and have literally tried everything. I am going to ask my doctor about this. Thanks for the laughs guys....and Anna. Love and hugs from Norway!
23 DAYS OF MIGRAINE IN ONE MONTH????? i have had a migraine for 2 days in my entire life and it was so awful that i still remember it vividly. I have no idea how you can handle it. I wished I could help you get rid of your migraines
@@thessie86 Yes, 23 days of migraines in April. I have been to many specialists and have tried everything to help control them, but my body rejects the medicines. The only thing that helps with the pain is Imigran/Imitrex tablets. I have even tried medical botox and I have had nerve block shots in the back of my head. That helped for a month, but then my body rejected it. My migraine specialist said I just have migraines that are very difficult to treat. I have had them for 35 years so I am used to them, but it is really depressing sometimes.
I've been where you are and finding the preventative medication helped me get mine under control. Botox is also an option if you are struggling with meds resistance. I hope you manage to get yours under control, they are absolutely awful! 💜
@@rachaelroux3247 Thank you! It is awful. I have tried Botox and it didn't work for me. I have tried all the preventive medicine Norway has to offer. They either don't help at all or they cause really bad side effects for me. I have accepted that this is what it is and I have learned to adjust my life for the migraines. Not easy to do with 4 kids, but I manage. Luckily I have an amazing husband that helps when I have the really bad days. So glad you found something that works for you!
@@NorwayMamma1 I can sympathize. I’ve had a constant headache for 6 tears. Be careful with the Imitrex. It can cause rebound headaches. I get Botox shots to help make my days more functional. I hope you get it figured out.

I think you guys should do a follow up video about how different you feel from the IV bags.
I feel Cam’s pain. I know EXACTLY where my only good vein is. I had an IV in the foot once when I had carpel tunnel surgery (they couldn’t find a vein in the non-operating arm and couldn’t put an IV in the arm they operated on) and I had to get a blood draw from my foot after 9 nurses poked EVERY POSSIBLE vein I had in both my arms. (They had the IV in my only good vein).
Actually have had 2 of these done because I was so severely dehydrated *have a hard time remembering to drink and I don't "eat" a lot of my fluids*. One of the mobile nurses who came literally watched The Lion King with me because that was my comfort movie of choice. Was a good time and felt so much better after not being able to keep anything down
If anyone else were to make these videos it would be trash. These guys are the absolute best. They make everything funny and enjoyable. ♥️

I've done an IV infusion treatment a few times at a health spa here in Ohio. They're pretty solid, but nothing super revolutionary amazing feeling.

I feel for you Cam, I have had IV's in my foot too many times to count, the nurses use to run when they saw me coming because of my "phantom vains". The would send in the big guns to find a vain either in my feet, fingers or jugular, yes in my neck. PICC lines were the end result... 9 in total!!!
I wasn’t going to watch because I don’t like hearing about needles/seeing needles/potential bleeding however I’m so happy I did. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.

This has me so curious and kind of like I'd want to try it, but I am totally like Cam. Every visit to the Dr where they need to draw blood is a long ordeal thanks to my small and squirmy veins. Watching this gave me a lot of Dr visit flashbacks. It'd be cool to have a follow up on how the days following felt for you guys.

As a healthcare worker who has started IVs, injected contrast material, and taken blood I gotta say this was interesting. Knowing what the procedure entails I wondered how they were going to go about all of this. Did you need a doctor written prescription to have the IV and the vitamin cocktail that was infused? I'm really curious. I know that home health care could include such services but they have to be accompanied by a prescription administered by a licensed practitioner. Very interesting and yes...of course it will make you feel better faster because when you ingest vitamins and medicine in the pill form you only get a smaller percentage of the dose while your body has to work hard to break it down...whereas the liquid form is more easily broken down and completely used by the body.
Yeah I wondered if they need a blood test before administering certain things like magnesium and b12 to see if they have a deficiency or high levels.

I am the same as Cameron……I have a hard time with my veins as well. There is only one arm that can be drawn from and it has to be with a butterfly needle. (Smaller needle) I have never had it in my foot but that will be an idea for when they have a hard time next time. Thanks for making us laugh…..you guys are awesome!

Tip for hard to find veins, hotpack or I once had a doctor put hot water in a glove. Learned this little trick when I went in for surgery and they could not find a vein for my iv.

I have been going to an infusion center for over 4 yrs now for hydration. I have a port in my chest. When you mentioned the envelope taste it reminded me of a story I heard once. This lady cut her tongue licking the envelope and maggots laid eggs in her tongue

Cam, I have the same problem finding usable veins for blood draws and IV lines. Inherited my stubborn veins from my mom. My hands get poked quite often for blood draws when the veins in my arms are playing hide and go seek.

Can I just say that the quality of the camera you use for your videos is absolutely amazing?! It's so crisp! I dread going for bloodwork because they can't find my veins in the normal place on the arm. They have to take it from the middle of my forearm. I've gotten many nasty bruises from failed attempts and being a human pincushion is not fun.

From one that has had IVs before, I could not image having to have one in the foot before just because I am sensitive to pain and the idea of one in the foot just has me automatically tightening every muscle in my body.

The girl I work with has the same problem as Cam. They found her vein by her ankle. She is a tiny woman, maybe 100lbs wet. Very happy I don’t have that issue.
