Storyline,
Ryker calls Starrett to a meeting at the bar, saying it's to work out a deal, but the real reason is to kill him. Callaway tells Shane about the double cross because he is no longer loyal to Ryker.

Shane is an American Technicolor Western movie from 1953 that stars Alan Ladd, Jean Arthur, and Van Heflin. The Paramount Pictures film is well-known for its scenery, filmmaking, editing, acting, and genre additions. George Stevens was the movie's creator and director. It was based on a 1949 book of the same name by Jack Schaefer that A. B. Guthrie Jr. wrote. Loyal Griggs was responsible for the film's Oscar-winning photography.
