- So typical YZ decides to visit Asian areas when in Australia. I'm not the biggest fan of Melbourne brunch cafe food (but I did have it), so I head to eat Malaysian food (because Melbourne has some of the best Malaysian food outside of Malaysia). The first place I saw was Glen Waverley, because this was somewhere I was always curious about, hearing from the news that they have a really good school district and there are lots of Chinese people here. In fact when I was in Glen Waverley, I felt like I was taken back to Malaysia, since during my time I could almost always hear Manglish, Mandarin and Cantonese throughout.
Anyway, IMHO this place is almost as good as Eastwood NSW, if not better. The atmosphere felt a little different - Glen Waverley felt cleaner compared to Eastwood, but Eastwood is slightly more rowdy and 热热闹闹. So I think it kinda balances it out.
I'll have more videos coming up, so if you enjoyed them I'll continue to post some more. Box Hill, Springvale and Footscray up and coming.

Back in 1996, I felt like a laughing stock for admiring such suburb, especially the shopping centre, but now, I can brag that I was right, especially when Glen Waverley has the best High School, it is even better quality education than horrible private schools, I am sure glad for this video, it makes my opinion feel normal.

Thanks for making this! I used to live near Glen Waverley and moved out of there in February and it was refreshing to see what I'll be missing out... though I'm a little surprised that you didn't visit Box Hill?

I had to laugh when you said that the Glen isn't as big as Chadstone. The Glen is big, but nothing is as big as Chadstone. Many thanks for making these videos.
If you are young that is the place to be
In comparison to the malls in Malaysia, Chadstone probably can't even get into top 10 by size.
I head to Glen Waverly whenever I visit Melbourne for one reason and one reason only. LAKSA KING. They give me a good fix, especially my sambal kang kong fix.
Yeah I've heard very good things about that place. Need to try one day

Melbourne just has a different lifestyle to Sydney but always looking for sharetea ! The plaza to sit at and the koko maybe gyms and a park plus cinema basically shop at Coles before walkinhome
