    Thanks Jim , that’s where I got hung up on mine quite a while back then got side tracked on other hobbies. Now I have the knowledge to get back and finish it . Thanks for all of your great videos that you have added over the past couple years. Great Video .! Thanks again.

    Got mine put together and it turned out great for an amateur. Something about a flintlock.

    The most important of all the videos is to test the rifle at 100 yards so we know how accurate the weapon is once manufactured.

    Just ordered a kit this evening I’m super excited these are absolutely beautiful a masterpiece imo I noticed these vids are a lil older is assembly the same ? Anything if any changed? Honestly I think of these as a high end custom rifle.. I searched many kits and these are the best looking quality I’ve seen

    This way we will know the precision of the rifling of the barrel manufactured by HAAS CNC, depending on the charge of black powder and the weight of the tip. thanks best regards Denis Morend.

      LJ C .... Its not. Mine was the sloppiest fit I’ve ever encountered on a “quality “ kit. If you actually build one you will find that none of these operations go as smoothly in the real world. Lots of misdrilled holes,etc.

    Jim warns us to be careful of to toe.... Be careful. Do not set it down on the floor.... Trust me!

    Hey Jim
    Would it be ok to pre drill the screw holes with maybe a 1/16” drill bit?

    • @kiblerjim
      @kiblerjim  Před 5 lety +1

      They are already drilled in the stock so there is no need
