Hi Helen. It’s fun to buy bits and bobs for the caravan and you have definitely found some real bargains. Certainly, bulk buying can save one a lot of money but just me and my hubbie would never get through it all by ourselves! It’s such a shame when you have a beautiful sunny day then it’s rapidly followed by a downpour but that’s the British weather for you and I hope it cheers up soon!💖🌸

Lots of bits and bobs in there Helen. Glad to see good old Sudocrem getting a mention. 😊 All great bargains but I'm a worrier and won't use anything past the date. Family always telling me not to be daft. We don't seem to have Rogers here in NI anyway. Spent all Saturday at daughter and son in law's caravan. It was a glorious day for it. Loved seeing how every inch of space was utilised. Caravanning is new to them but it was a great campsite with plenty of advice from seasoned caravanners. Enjoy. x

My son and family live about half an hour from Poole…..Gareth loves Roger’s! Mind you, he did present me with a box of about 30 double Bounty bars when we were staying with him. Bless him! Have to say Tony and I got through them with a little help from the Derbyshire family on our return. Quite a long way out of date but scrumptious! And this is why I am a size 12 in my mind but in true life an 18…. no will power!xx Liz

Helen, I haven't tried it myself, but I read that if you sprinkle Semolina on roast potatoes, parsnips etc, it makes them extra crispy.
Yes, it does and I have done it in the past. It's also good for putting under pastry pies apparently, to avoid a soggy bottom! xx

I put double stick Velcro under my soap dispenser, etc. so I don’t have to put them away when we drive. It keeps things attached to the countertops.

I work for heron a Yorkshire discount shop ,we were talented over a few years by b+ m we sell all that stuff you've bought but all in date with maybe a couple of months date on .hot dog sauce 2 for a pound the sauce for veg 80p so you don't have to buy in bulk .we also have stack it high shops with similar products cheap as well some in date and some not .think more people are buying from these places makes your money go further as prices go up in the supermarkets x

Great haul👍🏼 Something you might look into is a thermal cooker, you brown the protein and add whatever, rice, potato, or just veg and a little sauce,once it’s hot you seal it in the thermal cooker and it simmers away all day with no heat needed. I’ve seen people who travel or live on boats like narrowboats or RV trailers use them and they love them. Though you’ll probably be in RV parks where you’re hooked up to power and water so you won’t have to worry about power consumption.

Looking forward to the 23rd. Got my Lemon Lushious Cake baked. Already had one piece to test it. Delicious and I'm not a fan of icing so
When the cake was hot I topped with warm melted butter. Oowee gooey butter cake❤. The next day I topped another piece with blueberry conserve. I have wrapped and put the rest in my freezer. Have to behave now😊

My mum used yo make Farola into a pudding with some dugar,an egg or two and vanilla extract ( or now vanilla paste) and milk ,baked in the oven.Judge the time depending on your oven.An easy eat if someone has been ill.Modern recipe is on Biblio Cook.Amazing haul.😄🌞🎉

Hi Helen. Years ago, I got a "bin holder' from Bettaware, which I have under the sink, hanging on the door. It's very effective, & handy to remove, & put in the wheelie bin. Informative vlog today, but not aware of any phenomenal discount stores here in Cumbria. Weather changed here too. x

What a haul you got. I would not mind the sell by dates on your food items, but Oh Boy, my other half would be "NO WAY", they are out of date. He thinks I try to poison him when I use out of date stuff ha ha.
Haha, Rob is the opposite. I often say if I wasn't here you'd be dead in a fortnight from food poisoning! haha xx
Just in case it’s useful Imodium’s ingredient is loperamide. Usually cheaper than brand names. They can be really expensive. 😡. Always ask if there is an unbranded version of the item you need. Pharmacies are happy to help.
