You do need salvation, we all do. We can’t wash away our own sins. Only Jesus can and that’s what He came to earth to do. He came to His own people, only to Israel then sent out His disciples to the gentiles to be saved. Jesus practiced Judaism. He followed and fulfilled the Law perfectly. He went to all the feast, everything Jewish He did. Your OT scriptures tells us about Him. That’s how we know it’s Him. He’s all over the OT and from the beginning God had a plan for the salvation of mankind. From the sin of Adam & Eve death came into this world along with sin. Genesis 3:15 tells us how God is going to save the world. The NT is not a new religion. It’s Judaism without legalism. Jesus teaches us how to live holy lives and to love God with all our hearts soul and strength and to love our neighbor as ourself. He tells us of the end times just like Daniel does. He was the Passover lamb! His blood washes us clean of our sins. There’s no more sacrifice for sins. He completed it all. I heard Him call to me and I gave my life to Him. The Holy Spirit lives in me so I can hear Him and feel His presence. Every Christian can. No animal is sufficient enough to take away our sins. But the blood of Jesus washes them all away. I can’t save myself nor can you. When you realize you’re in need of a Savior just call on His name and He’ll be there. Good works won’t get you into heaven only Through Jesus can you get there. Good works and love come from Jesus and a willingness to follow His commandments. I’ll pray for you. And I wish for you to live in peace in your tiny little land.

Thank you for posting this. So many of us in the West need to know this information that you are sharing like this bit of history. Even old folks like myself who love Israel and God our Father, Jehovah Elohim, nevertheless like myself missed this history as it happened almost twenty years ago. I remember hearing about the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts in the news but at the same time so much of it went past me without sinking in at the time even though as a Christian I felt I should be aware of what was going on in the most important country on Earth, the birthplace of our faiths. That would be one of many points that are ignored or downplayed. When I lived in Israel for a short time I was appalled by the prejudice on both sides and was made aware of just how messed up that part of the world had become. It has become a blood feud as well as a culture clash. The resentments on both sides were often quite extreme. Each side had its own version of historical events and it was usually very difficult to separate out the truths. Neither side has acted entirely honorable, and the leadership on both sides had major flaws. At the same time, I found most of the Palestinian people to be very warm and helpful. 8 times out of 10, it was a Palestinian who would pick me up when I hitchhiked, sometimes even inviting me to eat with them or even spend the night.@@netaji-thebritishslayer
