I've been married to a Chinese woman from Singapore for almost thirty-seven years and I can relate to some of this stuff. Her parents were peasants from China and she has the same values as Jimmy's parents.

I Love his Humor!! Having the opportunity to now watch Videos from all over the World. I particularly Love watching Chinese, and Japanese Videos about how they express their Humor! Shuss! Don't say anything to both the Chinese, and Japanese that I am watching both! I don't wany them pissed at me! I am in enough trouble making fun of Donald Trump! Humor is very hard to explain, and when you try, it doesn't work! Humor can best be used to help us understand one another, as long as it is not insulting Racially! I hope to see more of him on You Tube!😂
There are lot of mainland Chinese that have made their home in New Zealand, also many that settled here with first immigrants. They are a nice people, courteous and hard working. They do like ping pong or table tennis. Our local library has two tables that are pretty much always in use.

In my last company, once I was invited to a ping pong match. As a Asian who has played it for many years, I thought I could win. But I was defeated by an European in first round easily.

In the United States, education has historically been the path to upward social mobility. However, in recent decades that paradigm has apparently broken down somewhat.

hello ls, thank you jimmy - our fathers were hard workers. not sure in our ctown village all over the US (new york, los angeles, san francisco, houston, chicago, atlanta, or philadelphia) - where all the ivy schools were where required to apply to - where were they working in economics or business. went home on my school time and both mine were still at work. closing the dining business or closing the fabric factories. my brother was an artist and i was a hobbyist. just draw out the differences and make it funny - we know what they mean. elle for cash w coins
Anybody remember that movie Balls of Fury? Maggie Q and Christopher Walken were in it and it was about ping pong. So much of that movie makes sense now that I've heard this comedian talk about ping pong.

We had a middle-aged, single Chinese guy in the flat next door for years. He cracked me up and we never even formally met.
You'd hear him yelling at things through the wall, and he would use a cleaver like he was chopping up bodies in the kitchen, lol.
One night he was hammering and assembling furniture at midnight so I knocked on the door. His door opens, he's wearing the dirty white tank top TUCKED INTO tighty whities pulled up to his chest, dark sock and plastic flip flops, hammer still held up where my knock interrupted him mid-swing and he was somehow shocked to see me when he opened the door, lol. He apologized profusely and never did it again at night. But that image is burned into my brain forever.
He also sneezed at around 10pm every single night, anywhere from 3 to 7 times, lol. It became a game where my husband and I would call out a number after the first sneeze to see who was right. We really got into it, though we also wondered whether he was doing a bump at 10pm or something, lol.
He moved out 4 years ago. I still miss him every day, lol. No other neighbor has ever even come close to being as weird in a cool, old Asian dude kinda way.

My daughter never went to Kumon, I had her become a tutor there at 15. I saw lots of Asian kids there. She's a smart girl but you cannot teach a kid drive and ambition, which she is contented not to have.

I don’t see how sharing snippets of his life growing up as an Asian is wrong. It’s something he’s familiar with.
