- This is a bit of a throw back to a few weeks ago when we put got out the Kioti tractor, roto tiller and did food plot work. The summer is in full swing and weed control is a big deal this time of year. I hit the main food plot with the roto tiller again and hit some serious rocks on a new food plot that we are establishing this year for whitetail deer hunting. It was a HOT summer day but we laid the foundation for planting a food plot in the coming week.

In addition to this video, please SUBSCRIBE and come along as we work the farm with tractors, mow and clear land with the Ventrac, plant the garden, prepare for turkey hunting and deer hunting seasons planting food plots, prepare mineral sites, fish in the lake for bass, bluegill and crappie and fix all of the tools needed to take care of the land. We also ride ATV's and UTV's for fun and to take in the beautiful scenery.

Good video as for the rocks I’m in east Tn and I may not grow great Vegetables but I do grow a lot of rocks and I have been picking them up for 20 years
🤣🤣🤣. Brother, I know what you mean. If we could sell rocks we would all be driving some shiny new trucks. Lol. East Tn is one of the most beautiful places in the country. Sounds like you have a nice slice of heaven. Appreciate you watching!
@@JoeTheFarmer thank you yes I do have a slice of heaven we are actually in the Cherokee National Forest at the foot of the mountain it’s a shame a lot of the old farmers are dying and there kids are selling off the farms .The realtors are subdividing them and the people from the northern states are buying it up and want to change everything .
We are experiencing that too. But I guess thats me because my wife and I bought our farm; weren’t lucky enough to have it handed down. Lol. Now we would love to put it back together with the parcels around us but it’s just too expensive. What we have is a great start, I would just like to leave my kids and future generations a hunk of land. I’ll just keep trying! Appreciate you watching brother and hope you will come back and see us.
As to the mice, the same for cars, only a problem when I park it with the hood down.
Great point. I just need like, 50 cats. But every time we get one they become fat and lazy pets. Haha
Great video
Thanks Ryan! I appreciate you watching!!!
Love the Kioti and yep, have forgotten the tiller kick stand! Best of luck with the property!
Holy Cow! I got a comment from a REAL celebrity! Love your channel Kapper; been watching for a long time. And I totally blame you for making me buy the RX7320 (and I thank you!!!!). Seriously, appreciate you watching brother!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mrs. Kapper,

@@JoeTheFarmer LOL no celebrity status here!!! I enjoy smaller, newer channels because I know how crappy this platform is for being anything but fair... A lot of great people work very hard, and well.... you know the story if you've been doing it for awhile. Best wishes looking ahead and for 2021!! Thanks.
Well; you have celebrity status in my book brother! Been watching since you had the NX and have enjoyed your channel and the work that you put into the land. Always enjoy your videos and have mentioned/shared your channel in a few of mine. Appreciate the kind words. Good luck this season and into 2021!

Great video. I’ve only used a disc before. Does the tiller have something in the back that is making the dirt smooth like that? If so I guess you have no need for a cultipacker? Seed bed looks awesome
Hey! The door to the tiller is very heavy so it smooths the bed out. Then the cultipacker knocks the loose soil down to get the right seed depth. Thanks for watching!
Oh, BTW once you go cab you never go back LOL
So glad I bought the RX7320. Big investment; but better than heat stroke! Thanks again for watching man, big fan here.

I am looking to buy a rototiller and am also considering a titan... have you had any issue with the tiller? any comments would be appreciated
Happy to help. It’s been flawless man. Great tiller and very well built. IronCraft is their new name. Titan Implement/IronCraft makes great stuff!
Found any arrowheads yet while doing this
Not yet; but that would be awesome! We have a lot of stacked stone walls that are likely from the civil war. Would be really cool to use a metal detector all over the farm to see what we could find. That may keep me busy when the kids are grown and I have more free time on my hands. Thanks for watching!
How deep are you rotolilling?
Hey Mark, thanks for watching. I am probably between 4-6" of depth in this plot. There were cattle on here so the ground is really compacted. I may hit other areas around here next year with the scarifiers on the box blade.
What kind of tiller do you have
Hey Paul; thanks for watching. Its a Titan Implements 6’ rototiller. Tough as nails; been really happy with it.

How did you get the dirt to get so fine from tilling?
Just took it slow and the tiller did the work. In all reality, the moisture content can really impact how clumpy it gets.
@@JoeTheFarmer thanks for the advice I hope I can get my farm to look like this when I start my food plot next year
Anytime brother! I’m sure it will be amazing. Feel free to reach out in the future!
@@JoeTheFarmer oh I will be, I’m on CZcams all the time, I’ve made some really great friends on here
@@JoeTheFarmerhey there friend ment to ask you what was the model of this tiller?
