- This video is LONG overdue. As you all know, I'm a pen and pad guy. But as my business grew, that method went out the window along with the pad (we kept the pens though, they have our logo on them).
Workiz has allowed me to scale effectively and efficiently since day one. With its easy use, tracking abilities and integrated online booking, I've been able to grow Lug Away smoothly over the last year.
This link gets you 2 FREE MONTHS! workiz.grsm.io... If you decide you want to contact them and speak to a rep, mention my name and you'll receive the same 2 FREE MONTHS as well.
The only thing I wish I did differently was job on board earlier. If you're looking to scale, this is the way.

Steve we need more day in the life videos!!!!
I hope
You make more content you are my favorite to watch for sure. Also I think ur a vet like me so that also is a plus at least you talk in military jargon.
We need another video Steve,, were & how are you & lug away.?
I saw you today 02/23/2023 in passing driving your truck ( junk removal truck) in Natick MA in morning. 👍
What up Steve thanks for the vid, your friends at Trailer Trash Junk Removal NY
What’s up you fucks!?
Fat guys?
Just started with Jobber. It’s my first CRM. Very happy with it so far. Not sure I’m going to keep quickbooks. Accountant just wants my bank account and business credit card statements. Can’t see a reason to keep quickbooks.
We need an update! Hope you’re doing well my man
Dying for more content brother!
Can you make a video on how to deal with the dumping process at the dump? Like the difference between construction debris, residential, etc
All dumps/transfer stations/landfiills are different. What exactly is your dump telling you you can and cannot dump?
Hey steve i just got into the junk removal game its so crazy that we have the same last name
From LC's Junk removal
Love it, thanks for sharing mate 👍❤️💪
Great content Steve as always. Which transfer stations around Waltham and surrounding areas would you recommend. Thanks
Thanks for another great video! Just curious - what dumps do you use near the Boston area?
BRO!!! Where you at???
Steve I really enjoy yor content. If you had to do it all again right now (in your early 30s) would you be concerned with your body breaking down or do you think you have many more capable years in the field? I am your age and worried about the physical demands of the junk industry and how I would hold up.
I'd be cautious with a company that can see every piece of information I have. Especially my revenue, profits and customer list. If they see how profitable you are what's preventing them from starting a competitor in town? Or selling that info to a competitor?
I doubt they would risk that but you do bring up some good points. I will get back to you on that.
@@SteveConroy1 Maybe not these guys. But how about the other big name in the industry?
Why would they create an entire CRM with weekly updates and connectivity with tons of apps (for a cost)to downgrade to doing junk removal?? they make hundreds per customers every month without lifting a finger. 10's of thousands of customers. Across many industries. Lets be realistic brother and not hurt ourselves over some kind of fear.
Where you been man!??!?
Steve? 👀.. ya there buddy? Hope you and the family are doing well my boy.
what are the miles per gallon your ford gets? and cabover?
Where'd ya go?
I've got docket now
Haven't really used it
Sounds like me when I first got Workiz. Implement whatever CRM you're using and start taking advantage of their benefits. It will get you where you want to be much quicker!
Where do you get your hats and shirts?
Can you do a video about rather or not you give friends/family a discount if so, how much and how do you decide the discount amount?
Absolutley!
Gotta question but I know it’s been a few months since you made a video, but I was wondering… could you do a video on google ads? How you run it, or do you just use JRA?
Thanks Bro 🎉
Hey how are you doing have not seen a video from you that's resent are you still in business
Where you at man haven’t posted in a year
Did you ever use jobber before workiz? I’m looking into using one of these two. I have experience with jobber from a job I worked a few years back so I’m familiar with it. Just wondering if you’ve used jobber and how it differs from workiz and what you like about workiz more than jobber
Steve whenever you set up your my buisness page on Google, what did you put as your category? All I could find was junk dealer, rather than junkyard or whatever else I seen that didn't seem right! What did you use
Please don’t go don’t go away I’m begging you to stay
Why did you stop making videos
hey steve
do you need a c-21 license to add demolition in your junk removal business
Hey Steve, would you still recommend workiz if I dont have employees yet ? Looks like it’s main focus is scheduling and being efficient with employees. I’ve been debating for the past few months whether I need this app. Thanks
I would 100% recommend it because it will help you be more efficient in the field. Not having any employees is not a reason to opt out. And better yet, once you do get employees, you’ll be ready to train them on WorkIz because you’ve been using it. Try the demo at the very least, you won’t be disappointed!
hey Steve, wondering if I could contact with with some questions? I'm trying to start my own junk removal
Who made your hats and shirts, hoodies?
where's the new videos bro
Hey man are you still using Workiz?
I was so excited to use them and I feel like they keep getting worse
Hey man I would appreciate it if you could donate some of your knowledge. What kind of license & insurance do you need to operate ?
Ha, 50 degrees ain't nothing. We got 19 today.
I'm all for the cold weather. Love the New England fall when its 50 I the morning, 75 in the afternoon then 40 at night.
Did you quit? Months between vids. Showcase every day so you grow. It helps organic traffic aswell.
Bro you quit youtube?
45 today
Looks like he needs his own services at his shop...
Did he die?
I could use some advice if you wouldn’t care to give it
Things must be bad, no videos. Or too busy?
C'mon, "things must be bad"? Were on pace to double sales AGAIN!
@@SteveConroy1 LFGGGGG!!!
@@SteveConroy1glad to hear bro 💯💪🏾
why did you drop off?? 😢
Can you do a video on how you keep ur beard so sexy and what products you use.
Steve do you use a gimbal for your videos and if so which one?
Only thing holding me back from Workiz is the price. $225 per month compared to housecall pro has a $49 a month plan and a $129 a month plan that seems to do everything Workiz does so why is Workiz so expensive? The free version of Workiz is not worth it so they are basically forcing you into a super high priced version.
The free version of Workiz is great for a free CRM. Workiz has many more automations than housecall pro, allows you to make custom invoices and allows your website to have online booking (housecall pros online booking is embedded through their website). I'll do some digging and make a video weighing the pros and cons but it all boils down to what you use it for.
Don't be cheap
