Yes, I have the regular rustler vxl so I bought the green body and most of the green parts . I don’t care about telemetry, put on some duratrax hatchet tires and a spectrum 85 amp esc 3300kv combo on punch level 5, that brought it to life 👍.
I feel like the telemetry is cool and all but honestly not many people care about all the different sensors and stuff in my opinion. personally the only sensor i keep an eye on a lot is the motor temp and maybe battery voltage. that’s about it
I found the Gravix tires to loose traction quite easily. Making them great drift tires after a few runs and they come off the bead around the same time so I put on some trenchers. I feel the same about the sensors as ryand4786. So now I have the castle mamba x and 1515 motor installed. If I had it to do over 😅 may have just picked up a brushed rustler 4x4 and built up from there. Still great cars though

i feel like a lot of traxxas tires come off the bead alot, especially the stock rustler tires. i’ve never had good luck with them
How do you like the gravix tires? Would you recommend the sledgehammer tires for bashing?

I like the sledge hammer tires better, they seem to get alittle more grip on the loose gravel, both perform good in grass and blacktop
