For anyone that does not know, a boosted rank is basically when someone meets a friend or someone they know on ranked and they let you beat them constantly until you rank up, rinse and repeat. There is no limit as to how many times you can fight the same guy. Technically it's not cheating because the person will not be a very good player and will not have improved or learned anything. So thats good for us if we run into the boosted ranks online, we know we can beat them. Dunno why people boost their rank. You can always tell between a boosted rank and a legit rank. @@Jazzmofo on pc you can just copy the save file of your rank and if you play and lose the rank you can just replace it and puff your rank is back

@@ThusSpokeFlexo rank can be demoted as well if you lose more enough. Save scuming would not demote the rank if he loses which wouldn't have any risk factor and would take less time to get to god prime than regular. Plus his King is just terrible with no fundamentals done right.

I fought my first ever Tekken God Prime yesterday. He beat me first game then i won the next two games then he left. Im pretty sure he was a booster since he was an eddy player that spammed B3, 3 and his movement was bad.

There should be a way to use Wireshark to get his IP address then you could block the IP from your router/firewall so you don't get matched with him anymore

The break on that chain is (correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe the arm breaker is a 2 break, the chicken wing face lock is a 1+2 break, and the rolling death cradle (if it comes) is a 1 break. Not sure about the other throws in that chain.

Aren't rankings uploaded to the server? Why would save backups work on online ranks?
cause they aren't, ranks are saved locally
They are not. Everything is saved locally, with your customizations even being seperate from your online ranks + wins.
It's just that steam saves your local saves online and synchronizes them between different PCs. But you can simply save/back them up yourself and reuse them later if you want (if you got demoted or something, sometimes because your save data got corrupted)

Everything can be manipulated if it's on pc, especially steam games. Also yes, steam's tekken saves everything locally
@@Blizzburn I wouldn't say it's impossible to manipulate PS4 save data, it might be possible if the save data is still stored locally. Then you could fuck with them if you can gain access to them somehow. It might work with a jailbroken PS4 for example.
But jailbreaking a ps4 itself can be very complicated with it sometimes even being impossible (at least until some exploit for your hardware revision/firmware is found). And sometimes you are locked out of new games until you have updated your system to the newest firmware, which would remove the jailbreak again. So even if it is possible it would be a pain in the ass to accomplish, so it would be very rare anyway.
Blizzburn the PS4 data can be messed with, namco do not hold ranks online for anything outside the arcade version. It’s just a bit more complicated but not overly

When someone searches a streamers game in order to fight him over and over again. Even if you try to dodge him you will be paired with him again. It's a douchy way to troll.

He broke it with the own command itself. Since he presses 3+4 to perform it, you have to press 3+4 or you could mash it to break it.

In this game you can very easily search your save file and if you copy and paste it elsewhere and say you get demoted you can paste your previous save file and you'll have your rank back. Well save scumming is basically doing that.

Lucius Warcry the king plugs on people when he’s about to lose, or at least he did until he realised he could just change the save so he would never get demoted if he lost. He’s notorious for rage quitting and cheating his save
