- I race at an MDIR track rental. The day was full of events (good and bad), but it made me go back to the drawing board on the future of this car.

Sucks the hood got damaged. My friend did that to his whipple 3V but it’s a metal hood so it dented it up. Great driving as usual. Cobra sounds perfect

I have a stock blower pulley cover that I can try to modify for the VMP/idler setup. I’m thinking of swapping pulleys/retune. Also thinking of taking weight out/off the car as well.

This car looks clean! Miss my Terminator! Are those 15 inch wheels all around? Are VMP blowers just relatively quite? I had a ported eaton on mine and it seemed 5 times louder than whipple/Vmp
Thanks! I have 17x4.5 up front. Yeah VMP blowers are quiet compared to ported Eatons.
Sucks about the hood, but like you said that’s part of racing! Some nice passes, great driving and cobra sounds👌🏼🏁

Oh yeah, I’m pretty pissed about the hood. Steph wants me to put a cowl hood on the car, but I love the stock look of an 2003-2004 Cobra.

What did it run on that last pass?
The car would not 60ft at this track rental. I’m assuming because of the lack of heat in this lane. The last pass was a 10.0.
Do you have alt pulley to match the lower if you have one. Mine tore up and got toast last month… I’m planning on getting a grip tech for the supercharger pulley and a new alt because the help to crack the shaft and made crack, belt got tore up the rest of the way..
I had the Metco alternator pulley on my car but my lights would dim. So I run the stock alternator pulley and have for two years. I need to put a laser on the belt to see when and how it’s moving.

@@simeonwasonga8710 that’s what happens when we modify cars. Things happen and it’s just the luck of the draw sometimes. We will figure it out.

What's your back tire pressure ?
12-15 psi depends on the track.
