Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

If w give them some time and they continue with good scripts from the writer then they both will find their niche for a beautiful romance. He is trying to make up for his astute mistakes. He needs to keep the ex-wife out of the house so she can not interfere with the new relationship. Hopefully Cihan will develope a great love and respect for Hancer and she will begin to trust him more and show more authentic emotions and caring.

It is Definately getting better. I was ready to quit but saw a clip so gave it a chance and like the direction. It is not so morbid and dark any more and the lead protagonist couple is actually a bit more in sync, or at least he is trying more and does appear to be listening to his lawyer and approaching Hancer with a more personable direction.

It'd be nice if they could spread them out a little more so there wasn't a long waiting period. For example, one episode on Saturday, and the other on Wednesday. But it's also nice to have something to look forward to. Just that the show is so slow!

Vuelvo a decir que esta serie esta muy desaprovechada en su franja de emision... tiene un gran potencial como serie diaria y creo que ahi es donde deberia de emitirse. Tiene un argumento solido y la trama se desarrolla sin demasiado lio ni parones inncesarios- Ademas como ya he comentado al ser solo sabados y domingos pierde un poco la continuidad que le daria si la viesemos de lunes a viernes. Quizas y con un poco de suerte la cambien
Unfortunately all the 3 main dizis have been renewed and there are only 3 slots. Kanal 7 had no idea Gelin would be so popular. It has the best ratings and the best couple but it may be too late to reverse the decision 😊
