- When you're not blasting a bunch of planes, SAMs, AA Guns, tanks, ships, oversized airships, or a super submarine, it's always nice to embrace the scenery that we often overlook while trying to beat our previous mission score. That's why this cinematic goes back to Day 1 and imagines a whole day of Avril flying in her drag racer, exploring the free world, and climbing to her dark blue sky. No targets or destruction to hinder tranquility. Just me, you, and the world.

Can't help but feel bad for Avril, she just wanted to fly peacefully, but wrong place wrong time hit her hard. I hope she got herself a new drag racer after the war ended.

She did, along with trigger.
There was an official art piece project aces released a while back where after the war, Avril and Trigger are both on the salt flats in F104 planes getting ready for takeoff
@@phantomwraith1984 makes sense, flying with trigger she can be damn sure she's not getting shot down again.
Avril should have Been trigger, have 444 squadron be your sole wingmen throughout the game, maybe add the other noteworthy characters to it.
No kidding, the Drag Racer cutscene is simply one of the most beautiful things to ever come out of Ace Combat. But of course, we need to advance the plot, lmao. And thanks, man! :)

@@_Phantom_ Considering that Avryl does actually have connections with the Osean Military high Command (Something that surprised McKinsey) I want to believe that those same connections would have help her clear her and get compensated for fighting the Lighthouse war, specially since it was obvious that McKinsey disregarded the orders of bring her with him so she could return to Osea and instead left her behind to be sent to Tyler Island.

how'd you change the time in the mission maps? the daytime Mission 14 was beautiful
Easy, it’s just a lighting swap mod. I think I used Mission 19’s lighting for those shots.

Bamco/project aces usually doesn't give updates about new games unti they're almost finished and we already know ac8 is in development. That's also the main reason they don't update ac7.
Well, Kono-san made a tweet about how "open" he should be about sharing details regarding the development of Ace Combat 8. As for your second comment, I'm not sure what you mean. We've received several DLCs that, if anything, justify the support for Ace Combat 7. Besides, would you rather them continue with consistent DLC updates and hinder the development of the next instalment, or allow them to focus completely on Ace Combat 8?

I'm just saying, there could have been some maps (which would be existing assets) added to multiplayer, I know we get the dlcs but nothing to multiplayer
