- The moment I saw the announcement trailer for Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown, the amount of happiness that surged through me was a moment that words cannot explain. Now, it turns five years old today. It's quite scary to think how close this game was to being cancelled, but Project Aces prevailed and made a triumphant return that truly proved to be remarkable. Ace Combat 7 has succeeded in maintaining the revitalizing and thrilling experience of being a Strangereal ace.
Unlike my usual tradition of creating a fan-made anniversary trailer, I decided to make a cinematic video that encompasses the spirit of Skies Unknown. This is a project that I envisioned for some time but didn't know how to construct it. The video, in its most basic elements, is a cinematic retelling of all twenty campaign missions but unfortunately omits missions part of the SP campaign due to a shortage of time. In addition, I had to rush this video so it could be released today, which is why some mission clips are noticeably shorter than others. This is not as perfect as I envisioned it to be, but I still want to share this with everyone in commemoration of the game's fifth anniversary. I hope you enjoy it!
I also want to thank @Net-Zone for allowing me to use his incredible rendition of Daredevil. Armed Machine was arranged a couple months after the Release Date trailer for Ace Combat 7 was published and for me personally, it is just as good as the original for a fan-made composition. The ending is ethereal. Thank you for making this wonderful soundtrack!

RIP Clown voice actor. At least we get to hear his voice once again. Although I hate Mage/Golem squadron.
They just let a rookie take the blame for President Harling killings without proper investigation and court case.
Hated Banddog for killing Full Band
In my playthrough, I basically flew as Maverick flying the F-14A TGM, then later the F-18 Super Hornet TGM and the SU-57 in the final missions.
Still by far the best DLC for Ace Combat 7.
Still my fav aircraft is the CFA-44 although it has been nerf here.
Honestly if Fullband kept his mouth shut then Bandog wouldn't have got him killed but he kept leaking secret military intel on the open channel
Sure wish Mage & Golem Squadron returned in Lighthouse mission & the finale. Would love to hear Count mocking them for treating Trigger like shit
Clown was the only one that defended Trigger. I have a feeling he was the one Wiseman came to help bail him out of the penal unit. As for Golem, and Sky Keeper, I’d say they still think Trigger’s a murderer even after the war. If Trigger were to partner up with them again, they might give him the cold shoulder.
@@RogueRail Trigger saved Wiseman during Operation Two Pairs. He prob wrote good praise to the Osean high command whom had taken notice of the Spare Squadron's performance and started appraising them for official combat duty.
Then during Operation Full House, Trigger was able to shoot down a special drone which even Wiseman was not able to bring down.
Wiseman def took noticed Trigger's skills as a pilot and not as a criminal that many assumed.
@@linchester8464 We don’t know much about Wiseman’s interaction with McKinsey after Operation Two Pairs, but my guess is that he asked if Trigger can get transferred to the LRSSG only to be denied. While Trigger’s still with Spare Squadron, Wiseman made a few calls. As for Operation Full House, after Trigger shot down that drone as Wiseman showed up, McKinsey tried to screw Trigger over by falsely accusing him of disobeying orders so he can get into the LRSSG instead of Trigger. Even though Trigger was just doing his job. Thank god Wiseman saw through McKinsey’s lie.
I never would have thought this was rushed if you didn't mention it, it's so good it makes me what to play AC7 again after having just closed it lmao.

Thanks man! I was definitely in a rush to make it, but being able to sync certain moments to the soundtrack really made it an enjoyable experience! Looking forward to it as well! :)

Beautiful,...plane beautiful! I bought this game the moment it was available in my town, It's hard to believe it's already been five years. Trigger's story walks down (or flies down) a similar path as Mobius 1, but has its own twists and turns. AC7 may not be the first, but it sure is in my top five!

Ace Combat 7 was my first one and while I did love it, taking off with an F-22 from a carrier just didn't feel right lol.

I love the Ace Combat series truly I do but I would love to see Project Aces make an AC game with the idea of missions being done both solo and with online players in 2 man or 4 man squads depending on the briefing and details of the mission.
I agree! A Co-op mode would've made multiplayer more interesting and active.

I think it's a good decision! I mean, I don't know how optimized it will be on that platform but it's a nice way of inviting more players to this beloved series.
I still love the game. But we get jack. No new skins & everything. Their only focus on marketing. Its why they release this game in switch in JULY!
They're working on ACE8 so naturally they'd stop working on 7 lol.
