2018-2019 season and LeBron misses playoffs for the first time in 8 years, Lakers struggle, people doubt his legacy, Magic Johnson resigns, Warriors win chip. 2020 season, Kobe decides to take GM spot and team up with Bron because he feels like he can help the Lakers more than anyone. His best friend is also Rob Pelinca. Kobe is also idolized by Kawhi and helps recruit Kawhi (who the warriors can't handle) LeBron and Kawhi team up and defeat the warriors in 2020 in 7 games. Lakers go on to win chip Can be one of the greatest NBA stories of all time

As laker fans we need to remember that Koby's last couple of years here, all he did was halt the development of the younger laker players because of his ball hogging style of play, and then he set the franchise back many years by excepting a max deal 2 year contract even though he was just a shell of himself. Lakers still havent recovered from this. Koby was one of the greatest players of his time but we need to remember Koby was also a scrub at the end of his playing career. And unfortunately i think the lakers have repeated the same mistake by extending another declining superstar in Lebron. They will eventually make the playoffs but not while labron is still here.
