    Awesome, you hit all the bases, exactly the instruction I needed. I'm actually installing two dispensers on either side of faucet, one of them dedicated to hand👍 soap = declutterized and cleaner sink area. Many Thanks!

    Our kitchen sink came with this kind of thing. Looking at doing it to all the rest of my sinks (porcelain). Although we did do 1 modification, rather than using the bottle it came with, we got a small 2ft clear tube from Lowe's and ran it directly into one of those larger 64oz soap refill bottles, and made sure the tube's Inner diameter fits over the dispenser's tube so now we don't have to swap out the soap frequently, and when we do it is just sitting underneath the sink and we don't have to reach up and untwist anything. You just pull the tube out, put the new soap bottle in and put the tube back in.

      Hey, sorry for the late respond. You add water to cool off the bit, a hot bit is a bad bit.

    Would it help if I try on to practice on a sample floor tile? I always want to practice first before I actually do it on the countertop. Will it simulate similar experience? Thanks.

    • @skillstacking
      @skillstacking  Před měsícem

      Yep that will be a good test and if you get the Milwaukee bit you can count on the bit not worrying down before you do the real thing.

    Great video! I watched because I just bought a place and we already have an in sink soap dispenser installed but when water gets around it, the water seeps under the soap dispenser and gets under the sink. Do you have any advice for that?

    • @skillstacking
      @skillstacking  Před 9 měsíci +1

      When you take it apart, between the crome base of the soap dispenser and the stone you should have a river ring. If it’s old your you don’t have, you can buy a square piece of rubber and make your own. I have a link under this comment.

    should you seal around the soap dispenser for water? I plan on doing this in my kitchen.

    • @skillstacking
      @skillstacking  Před rokem +1

      No need. If not all, most come with a rubber seal that stops water from going down. Let me know if you have more questions.

      That is the hard part. It is extremely tight. Just have to go in. If the pipe is the way. Get someone smaller to get it. Wish I had a better answer for you.

    Guessing you’re using a hammer drill for this?

    • @skillstacking
      @skillstacking  Před rokem +1

      NO! Do not do that. Use a drill with a clutch and set it to like 10 so if it grabs it won’t twist your wrist or potentially damage the stone. You don’t need too much pressure.
      Let me know if you have more questions.
