Awesome, you hit all the bases, exactly the instruction I needed. I'm actually installing two dispensers on either side of faucet, one of them dedicated to hand👍 soap = declutterized and cleaner sink area. Many Thanks!
Super happy I was able to help. 👊🏼♥️
Great video. Really appreciate this. Eased all my concerns. Gonna go ahead and try this with a good bit. Thanks.
Glad it helped ☺️
Amazing, I prefer the second one ☝🏻
Haha so do i
Good job look easy than I thought I was scary
No mater how many times I do it, I am always scared haha
Nice job!
Our kitchen sink came with this kind of thing. Looking at doing it to all the rest of my sinks (porcelain). Although we did do 1 modification, rather than using the bottle it came with, we got a small 2ft clear tube from Lowe's and ran it directly into one of those larger 64oz soap refill bottles, and made sure the tube's Inner diameter fits over the dispenser's tube so now we don't have to swap out the soap frequently, and when we do it is just sitting underneath the sink and we don't have to reach up and untwist anything. You just pull the tube out, put the new soap bottle in and put the tube back in.
Yea, that system is much better. I have that one in the basement. I am thinking about getting that.
Great job , didn't know this was possible
Happy to help.
This is great. Thanks for the suggestions. And I was also curious about adding the water. Thanks for the clarification.
Hey, sorry for the late respond. You add water to cool off the bit, a hot bit is a bad bit.
Great video!! Thank you!!
Glad it helped. 🙏🏼
Good work 👏
Thank you
Awesome
Great video, thanks for the thorough explanation.
For sure. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Nice job
Thank you
Would it help if I try on to practice on a sample floor tile? I always want to practice first before I actually do it on the countertop. Will it simulate similar experience? Thanks.
Yep that will be a good test and if you get the Milwaukee bit you can count on the bit not worrying down before you do the real thing.
@@skillstacking thank you. A handyman quoted me $125 to drill the hole.
Don’t pay. Not worth it
Great video! I watched because I just bought a place and we already have an in sink soap dispenser installed but when water gets around it, the water seeps under the soap dispenser and gets under the sink. Do you have any advice for that?
When you take it apart, between the crome base of the soap dispenser and the stone you should have a river ring. If it’s old your you don’t have, you can buy a square piece of rubber and make your own. I have a link under this comment.
MATNIKS Rubber Sheeting, Heavy Duty, High Grade 60A, Neoprene Black, 12x12-Inch by 1/8 (+/- 5%):

should you seal around the soap dispenser for water? I plan on doing this in my kitchen.
No need. If not all, most come with a rubber seal that stops water from going down. Let me know if you have more questions.
Great video and beautiful granite! Thank you for the tip on buying high quality bits only. To answer your question in the video, I prefer not to do dishes. Lol
😂 same
could you please post the link of hole drill bit here? Just want to make sure buying a correct one. Thanks!
Sorry, thought I left it in the description. That size is a 1” let me know if you need one bigger. Maybe 1 1/4”, I’ll send that link over too.

That's me right now ,all scared
Haha I am always scared when doing it. Just have tools you can count on, measure twice and take it slow. You can do this! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
How did you get under there with all the plumbing there in the way? Thanks!
That is the hard part. It is extremely tight. Just have to go in. If the pipe is the way. Get someone smaller to get it. Wish I had a better answer for you.
the "wiggle" room will start wiggling over time.
🤣 couldn’t find the words haha
Guessing you’re using a hammer drill for this?
NO! Do not do that. Use a drill with a clutch and set it to like 10 so if it grabs it won’t twist your wrist or potentially damage the stone. You don’t need too much pressure.
Let me know if you have more questions.
@@skillstacking ok thanks
A good bit will not chip your granite
Yea, that’s why I always go with Milwaukee.
Terrible idea!! It’s something more to clean around. And they always tear up !!
I have build in soap dispenser in my kitchen, love it so much I will do it in every kitchen and bathroom.
Haven’t had a problem.
