I can already imagine the crossovers, Olivia and her team investigating something in Toronto with the help of the detectives (maybe a suspect flees to Canada). Another is Voight and his team joining forces with the Toronto detectives.

I can’t wait to lookup the addresses that come up during the investigations for errors or to see if I’ve been to that place. I also want to tell the people nearby if they are close to somewhere we go; that makes the episode so much better!

There is always something different about TV Shows shot and made in Toronto, idk if it's the camera or lenses or the accent, you can always tell the show is from Toronto. I got the same feeling from Private Eye, Shadow Hunters, cardinals, orphan black etc

I'll be honest criminal intent was always my favorite of any law and order show, except for the first 3 or 4 seasons of the original law and order. It was quite a bit more psychological and asked questions about what makes a criminal a criminal, it more focused on the crime a lot more from the criminal's perspective which was different from the other shows. I'm excited to see criminal intent continue in some form, i always wanted to see goren and eames come back, but maybe their characters can continue on in this show.

I actually dig the series especially the way Det. Graff approach on solving the crimes his very soft spoken but in the same time cunning and on point..
Tonight's episode about price fixing between grocers and suppliers was far more hard-hitting than Mr. Trudeau 's chat with the Big 5 grocers.He probably bought them lunch to show them he means business.

The show is a Canadian spin off of the Law and Order series so it is only available on CityTv in Canada when it airs. I see nothing on NBC where the other Law and Order shows air that it will air on that network.

Criminal intent was my favorite following the OG cast of Law and Order. Vincent was an amazing actor. I will check it out but I am not sure it will have what the original had.

Compared to the other Cities featured in this franchise, Toronto is like a pristine choir boy... We ARE NOT a festering cesspool of American dysfunction and at all, and regarding crime, NO ONE should want to be portrayed as a city comparable to New York... (Not by a longshot.) we must NEVER try to be like, relate to, or identify with that spirit.
We're not NYC, and that's a GOOD thing.

Just watched the premiere. As a Law and Order fan since day one, I have to ask: Where is the Order????? No trials, and we saw the crown attorney for one scene, if that..... Disappointing
I won't be able to watch this without picking out which actors appeared in other Canadian shows like Rookie Blue, Lost Girl, Murdoch Mysteries, Republic of Doyle etc. The first episode all I did was say "Look, there's Nick who played Nick on Rookie Blue. Look, there's K.C. who played a gang member on Rookie Blue and Hale on Lost Girl. Look there's that chick who had that but part on Republic of Doyle." The worst is the way the announcer pronounced Toronto at the beginning. Teeruntu. So annoying.
