  • In this tutorial, we’ll show you three ways to blur the edges of a video: one for the free version of VSDC, and another two for the Pro version of VSDC. You’ll be able to control the blur levels and adjust the area that remains in focus.
    Blurred edges are a great way to achieve a special, dreamy atmosphere in a video, highlight an object or better capture viewers’ attention.
    As a bonus, we’ll also show you a quick trick to create a blurred-edge circle that will follow moving objects in the video.

      Are you using a free version? If so, that's the reason. Inverted mask is a Pro feature

    • @VSDCFreeVideoEditor
      @VSDCFreeVideoEditor  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello, you can try to use the crop effect to zoom in on a certain part of the video: czcams.com/video/8qGYdGLbwpc/video.html, but it's not possible to use a circle.

    • @navaneethk24
      @navaneethk24 Před rokem

      But you can use the lens effect to zoom a certain part.... You can adjust the size and power of the lens in the properties panel.... Also.. You can animate the position of the lens overtime

    Just wanna ask in, similiar blur in method 2 but its in the edge of another video so that there wont be hard noticable edges of the video on top of another video, like in this other tutorial for other editing system, czcams.com/video/ESdkNvwNKZw/video.html

    • @VSDCFreeVideoEditor
      @VSDCFreeVideoEditor  Před rokem

      Hello, just add a background video one layer below the video you are applying the inverted mask to: prnt.sc/FhLFncEeodPp

I recommend reaching out to our support team at support@videosoftdev.com and attaching screenshots of your settings. Already work for me, am paying atention at 3:03 when u turn on the visibility on the secnd layer and the black edges dissapear, u just dnt mention that the first layer is already blacked on the edges by the tools that u used by the first mthod, it spend an hours for me to find the solution.
