      @@override7486 A vPro PC includes:
      Multi-core, multi-threaded Xeon or Core processors.[9][10]
Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT), a set of hardware-based features targeted at businesses, allow remote access to the PC for management and security tasks, when an OS is down or PC power is off.[6][11] Note that AMT is not the same as Intel vPro; AMT is only one element of a vPro PC.
Remote configuration technology for AMT, with certificate-based security. Remote configuration can be performed on "bare-bones" systems, before the OS and/or software management agents are installed.[6][11][12]
Wired and wireless (laptop) network connection.[11]
Intel Trusted Execution Technology (Intel TXT),[11][13][14][15] which verifies a launch environment and establishes the root of trust, which in turn allows software to build a chain of trust for virtualized environments. Intel TXT also protects secrets during power transitions for both orderly and disorderly shutdowns (a traditionally vulnerable period for security credentials).
Support for IEEE 802.1X, Cisco Self Defending Network (SDN), and Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP) in laptops, and support for 802.1x and Cisco SDN in desktop PCs.[16][17] Support for these security technologies allows Intel vPro to store the security posture of a PC so that the network can authenticate the system before the OS and applications load, and before the PC is allowed access to the network.[13]
Intel Virtualization Technology, including Intel VT-x for CPU and memory, and Intel VT-d for I/O, to support virtualized environments (these features are also supported without vPro[18]). Intel VT-x accelerates hardware virtualization which enables isolated memory regions to be created for running critical applications in hardware virtual machines in order to enhance the integrity of the running application and the confidentiality of sensitive data.[13][19] Intel VT-d exposes protected virtual memory address spaces to DMA peripherals attached to the computer via DMA buses, mitigating the threat posed by malicious peripherals.
Execute disable bit that, when supported by the OS, can help prevent some types of buffer overflow attacks.[20]

REMEMBER: Put screen on 60Hz. Default is choppy 40Hz
I got a good condition 2570P with a i5 3320m, 4gb ram and a 320GB HDD for 140 euros a while back. I upgraded it with a 3G module (20 euro), 12GB Ram(40 euro), 1TB SSD (150 euro), and it has a expresscard slot which means you can use an adapter for a full size GPU(I havent tested this personally yet). Also you can slap in a i7-3612QM(Or any other 35W chip that has the right socket) for that nice quad core experience. It feels like new and it works fast. Untill you open a game you wont think it is 5 years old. It can almost play csgo at 20fps to 40fps (at 1366x768). CS:source = 60+fps all the time I bring it to work because i do not want to get my nice gaming laptop stolen or broken which can happen if you bring it every day. It even has the bios update for meltdown and spectre. Do not forget to do this update if you want to be safe. Whatever you do get at least 4GB of ram (if you can 8GB) and an ssd to get the best experience.
Reasons the 2570p is better than the 2170p:
-DVD drive(Yes it is 2019 but do not laugh at me because you can use a drive caddy for second SSD/HDD)
-Replacable CPU (Up to quad core)
    -Expresscard (For more gpu performance)
    -3G/4G module available (Mobile internet)
    - 9-cell battery available (Battery life)
    -Bigger screen(12.5 instead of 11.6)
    -Not that much more expensive

If you have the required tools and parts, you could throw in a Core I7, 32GB of ram and a modified bios without a whitelist to upgrade the wifi card. Of course, just an SSD would make things better.

That's actually a very good laptop to own. You can upgrade the CPU to a 3th gen i7, RAM goes up to 16GB of RAM and it's very compact. I was actually considering that when I was searching for a laptop, went for a ThinkPad T420 just because I needed something with more of a kick (2nd gen i5 but not the U series, M series at 3.2 Ghz) and a disk drive. But if you don't need a disk drive that's a very nice laptop with some upgrades.

U can upgrade the cpu in this thing. As far as i know this gen of cpu was socketed and u can easily replace it with a quad core i7 if the bios supports. & Add 16gb ram and ssd!

The performance of this laptop seems to be mid way between my HP Stream 11 Celeron based laptop and my HP 250 G5 i3 based laptop. The HP Stream runs games like Bioshock and Oblivion well. The HP 250 G5 can also run Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim Legendary Edition and Mass Effect 2 well. Both run DOSBOX games with ease.

You should say that it's at least better than the lower end computers. I have a Dell Dimension 4700 that features an Intel Celeron E3300 with 2 cores and clocked at 2.5 GHz. It's paired with 2 GB of RAM and an Intel G41 Express Chipset. It's running Windows 10 Pro, which isn't a great choice when you have a cheap CPU fan.
