  • Due to a power outage, I burned the motor up on my vertical milling machine.
I was able to buy a new used motor but I had to modify the shaft on it to match the out motor. This video shows the modifying of the motor and the reassembling of the mill.

Whow, that's pretty cool that you still have the mini bike grandpa and grandma got you years ago. They would be so proud. I really enjoyed the video. You done a great job 👍

Thanks. I'm really proud of that minibike. I put a lot of miles on it.

Nice job! I thought you forgot the key on the reassembly, it just wasn’t on video. I did get a little nervous when you were working on slowing the chuck down with your hand, I’ve seen to many ring fingers disappear. Not many people have all the skills you do, how do you keep your friends, neighbors etc. from doing their work? Sure enjoyed the video, also thats a nice shiny red vette in the background!

LOl. My sister gave me a hard time about my ring too. I was a machinist for 50 years and I never wore any jewelry. After I retired I started wearing my wedding ring. I keep forgetting to take it off. I need to pay more attention to that before I lose a finger. My cousin lived on a farm. One time when his was about 15, they were putting up hay. He went to jump off the hay wagon and caught his ring on a corner post. His lost his finger. Thanks for watching.
