    👏🙏👍
Absolutely right to go with the frame. Polished parts on sportsbikes doesn't fit in. Never liked it, but it's just taste

Very much enjoying your videos series . I'm going through the same process with my 89 750 and can really relate.

Frame anodizing, looks great when new, but trying to repair any damage is pretty much impossible. My '93 cbr 900rr frame is driving me nuts!! Love the content btw

have you ever tried cardboard - it gets the black off very well - back in the day when we had very little to work with we used Autosol direct to cardboard and that would go black in seconds and it would buff aluminium up to a great shine.

I had no idea Canada got the pop up Katana, we got them in here in NZ, the NZ/Australia version differs from the Japanese version in that they are un-restricted and have different size rear wheels.

@@true-moto-resto I see them pop up 😆 for sale every now and then here in NZ, and almost bought one as a project, but the seat Panels were missing and near impossible to source. I’m also an 80s 90s bike fan with a very modest collection, 86 GSX-R1100, 87 FZR1000 plus some later models, 01 R1 and an 02 Suzuki GS1200SS (an oddball JDM, NZ only model, kinda cool tho😀)

      Merci 🙂
If we had only known in 1986 how much these bikes would be worth…
      Then again, I didn’t have $ in 1986 LOL

@@true-moto-resto A friend of mine here in NZ, has one in the white/red/black colour scheme. He also has two 1976 Mk1 RG500 GP bikes, one is Pat Hennen's ex bike he won the Finnish GP on, pretty cool bikes.
