Then I recently discovered that you can buy similar looking LED sconces that are rechargeable battery operated, so that no hardwiring is needed and that anyone can install easily and quickly anywhere.
You can switch them on like a regular lamp by switching from O, which is the off position, to the 2 bars position. Also, the lights are controlled by sensors when you switch to the 1 bar position, so the light will go on automatically when the area is dark and motion is detected and then stay on for a brief period of time.
You can install these sconces anywhere by attaching the metal plates to the wall. The metal plates have an adhesive backing. Magnet on the back of the sconce will allow it to stick to metal plate. And then you can pull them off to recharge them and then put them back after they are charged
These battery-operated sconces are small, so they aren’t meant to be statement pieces.

Not only do I love, love, love these…I also need, need, need these for my staircase\hallway! I really like how they aren’t hard wired, and a magnet allows them to be removed easily for charging!
