The part you talked about is called Pulse Air Valve PAV by Royal Enfield - it allows filtered air from air filter housing to flow to the exhaust port, through the control valve, reed valve (non-return) and cylinder head passage. The filtered air mixes with exhaust gases and oxidises any unburnt particles.

do we need to clean or change egr.... . ??? even my ic 350 -2005 model bullet electra 5s has that in it. ..it has never been opened or serviced till date..... what is the time to change it or service it....???

Sir i hv Standard 350(BS4) aur maine uska Rear RIM & Tyre change karke CLASSIC ka 18" ka lagaya hai jiske kaaran dikkat yeh haiki GEARs comparatively bahut zyada change karni padh rahi hai aur Byke Heat bhi ho rahi hai. Mujhe darr hai agar mai aisi haalat me chalaao toh engine kharaab na hojaye ..pls aap Suggest kariye na kuch Solution.Thnks sir.

I have a classic 500 2016 (carb converted), one issue I am facing with the bike is miss firing or back firing from exhaust during deceleration, and sometimes it gets very loud. Someone suggested as I have a carburettor I can block the emission pipe and that may solve the issue? Could you please suggest me anything for it? thanks!!
