Sold! I’ve been looking for a new 3rd party stabilization plugin for those odd shots that fcpx just cant quite handle.
Thanks for this!
Oh shoot, watch out world here he comes! 💪🏾
Thanks for watching man! Love your work :)
You know that Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve FREE version already comes with the amazing stabilizing feature builtin, and yes of course for FREE.
Nasir Aziz Yup! But I am comfortable and happy with fcpx and I paid for it like 8 years ago. No reason to waste time and money learning new software just for one feature.
@@JesseDriftwood Free requires no money and no one ever thought learning something new was a waste of time.
I don't even edit videos but I watched this entire thing lol
It was a very sicko video
You should start. It's very fun. I started when I was nine, I am thirteen now. (Dont mind my channel its just test renders, I do compositing now with element 3d).
@@Seth_Caskey That's also very sicko
@@andrwwz6351 sicko modeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Why am I watching this? I don't even have final cut.
I watched the whole damn thing, this is certified 3 am shit.
Alright, then.
Damn bro that's crazy
Im watching this at 3 am too
Im watching this at 2:59 lol
I don't even know what final cut is
this is so sick.
Moment glad you enjoyed! 👏

You can achieve this effect with After Effects without a plug-in and even better imo
as in all native plugins in after effects?
@@tubbycustard8866 yes, watch this:
czcams.com/video/cm1kU9EI_tA/video.html
I guess in the scenario where someone uses final cut and doesn't have the adobe CC, the plugin from this video is way cheaper :D
As someone with AE though, thanks for the heads up!
to be fair tho, if you dont have after effects this is a cheaper option than buying
Same in Resolve, which is free.
0:49 whats that song, it is literally the most apple advertisy thing ever.
Saw Lightning- Becky
Duckmaw - Pusher
Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up
A . A close saw lightning was actually used in the September 2019 event at Steve jobs theatre. It was played before the show started , when people were starting to sit!
Darude-sandstorm
wouldnt this work in after effects by simply 2d tracking and attaching camera to that tracking
Absolutely, and you have a lot more control in After Effects. I've been getting into Resolve/Fusion recently and really like that as well. It's even easier than After Effects once you wrap your head around node-based work instead of layers.
cmon guys hes milking us money while teaching us something new/
@@uda_media Any good Fusion tutorials you can recommend? I'm trying to switch to Resolve for both cutting and sound mixing, but AE is the only software I have to keep off of the creative cloud still
This is a after effects tutorial for beginners to do this effect
czcams.com/video/q2lzMKkq_cg/video.html
@@ojcr I learned a ton from Blackmagic's sessions at NAB. I did not attend in person, but they Livestream the whole thing and you can still find the videos on their CZcams channel. I just clicked through those and found several great demos and tutorials throughout. Overall I absolutely love Resolve and Affinity Photo/Designer and will be happily cancelling my Creative Cloud subscription at my next billing cycle!
Dope video bro!
hey YCImaging
Thanks homie! Appreciate you 🙌
Amazing video! I wish i was creative enough to find more uses for this plugin though 😆
Kaskobi okay so I found you here
inb4 he bout to use this in his next cover video
YO
what‘s recommended today?
well turns out I liked the clip in the beginning but I don‘t even have finalcut (nor a macbook which could handle it)
You may be underestimating Final Cut's performance. Even the awful 2015 MacBook can handle 1080p
Noah Lach i have the 2012 Macbook pro.
😂 😂 😂
@@eben9233 I used to edit 4k on my 2012 Retina MBP.
Skylex that’s the best one! You can upgrade almost everything in it
"Play something royalty free" EYYYYYY!!!!! Right in the feels :)
This video is amazing on so many levels.
I never would have expected how to hockey to watch this video 😆
do i have final cut? no. do i edit? no. am i going to watch this whole video? absolutely
I actually saw the ad for auto tracker by Pixel studios before this video. Turns out, this video is also sponsored by the very same company.
Ad-ception 😂
Omg me too!
When ever someone says what they are talking about is not sponsored..... Is always sponsored. Nice to watch for me but it was all just an ad for the plugin.
@@floatingrabbit3556 At 2:01 I say the video is sponsored... so please do not put words in my mouth. Also, no, this video is not just an ad for the plugin; it's a tutorial on how to do the effect. I was going to make this video regardless of it being sponsored or not. This is the only way to do it in Final Cut and Pixel Film Studios was nice enough to offer you a 30% discount.
@@floatingrabbit3556 he meant a bot actually gave him an ad that he says he wasnt sponsored by.
This is the effect of targeted advertising since you're watching an editing video
First plugin i've ever actually purchased, thanks.
I just made a tutorial on doing it without a plugin and it's an absolute nightmare in comparison to using this plugin
@@oliverwright Haha first step is admitting your defeat, proud of you!
This is unnerving... I've been shown an ad for that exact software before your vid began.
The Intro was the most satifying intro ever, I wantched it like 10 times
ahaha, same dude!
man i was GLUED to this video. DAMN GOOD JOB explaining that effect! And your version of the video is AMAZING! and the color is BANANAS!
Yeah his LUT pack is awesome and super cheap in comparison to others. Used it for a few of my FCPX tutorials a while back

Saw the commercial today at the gym and wondered how tf did they make that? Then I see this tutorial... What A Time.
Bro. You are just Value on top of Value. What an amazing video
I'm so glad someone explained this I remember watching this commercial wondering how on earth they did this.
Probably the most interesting tutorial I’ve ever seen, can’t wait to use what you taught me!
Deuces from Italy🇮🇹
Not to take away from Daniel at all but if you're looking for more FCPX tutorials, hopefully, mine would be useful to you
Daniel -- thank you so much for this tutorial. A friend recommended your CZcams channel, saying it is loaded with no-gimmick info-rich videos.
It happens that this is the first video I looked at today, and it was 100% what I needed. I am (was!) editing a timelapse video where the camera was swaying because it was clamped to a structure that swayed in strong winds. I wanted to stay in FCPX because I am more familiar with it ... and this plug-in did the trick. Beautifully so, and I very easily corrected the problems in my timelapse pretty well. Well enough that I could confidently send it to my client. Thank you again!
Thats a great PlugIn I think I will buy that soon! Love these effects you can achieve with it :-)
Not to take away from Daniel or the plugin at all but if you're looking for more FCPX tutorials, hopefully, mine would be useful to you and I just covered how to do a similar effect without a plugin. Much more time intensive but achieves similar results
Been usindg this tutorial for like 2 years and still keep coming back after it fails to track properly! Thank you once again bro
Spamming the "0"key on my keyboard over and over again with this vid is so satisfying
toe toe toe toe toe
I used a similar technique for an engineering project where I wanted to make a drone track an object. You just need a classifier to detect the object you’re tracking then centre it frame by frame. A good camera is deffo useful
Best FCPX tutorials out there! wish I found your channel before I switched to Adobe. After Effects does this too with a pretty similar process, but this is the only channel I've seen that keeps FCPX relevant👏
Not to take away from Daniel at all but if you're looking for more FCPX tutorials, hopefully, mine would be useful to you.

DUDE ...........
So for anyone who doesn't use Final Cut, you can essentially do the same thing via the 'Track Motion' and 'Stabilise Motion' functions
thanks bro
this is fire i can't lie!
The happiest day of my life will be when you start making Premiere Pro videos
I first discovered this technique in Sherlock Homes 2 and immediately began experimenting with it. When done right, it gives a really really unique look. Good tutorial!
This is absolutely amazing. Thanks for the video
This is a dope video bro!!
Epic, right?! Not to take away from Daniel at all but if you're looking for more FCPX tutorials, hopefully, mine would be useful to you
Been waiting for someone to explain this in depth!!! Good look Brodie!
This is the fist time ever I buy a plugin for FCX. I bet many people buy it because of your video. Looks awesome man ! :D
Looks so friggin' good! Not to take away from Daniel at all but if you're looking for more FCPX tutorials, hopefully, mine would be useful to you
cinecom taught us how to do this in ae but this is alot easier for fcpx user thank you
They’ve probably done it on premier right?
@@itslimits1 they did in after fx
I almost never skip and watch the whole thing or purposefully press the ad when ever I see that ad cus of that same reason reminds me off one of the gt5 mod video that focus on the black lower chin
So cool

This is actually what i looked for in CZcams yesterday but didn't find it 😂 Thank you 🙏🔥
I've always loved this type of shot since I saw it on sherlock holmes as they were running through gunfire in the woods and wondered how that was done. I might actually try some of this
I got a pixel films studio ad at the start of this video
Double sponsor
Same.
This plug 🔌 In is rather revolutionary! When you didn’t have to track that first edit I was sold. This saves hours

For 1 minute straight I just kept button mashing the left arrow key and listening to that nice click of yours, if someone wanted to, they could make a sick beat with it😂👌
That is some incredibly compelling stabilization. Thanks for the code!

Who wishes every ad was made by him!!! Tv would be so much more enjoyable. xD
I’d use After Effects and Mocha which ships with AE. It’s a planar tracker which will give you the closest to the original effect.
Cheers
Tracker is also built into Premiere.
@@kebmanwhat is it called please?
@@BaselShalan What is the motion tracking in Premiere called??? I'll never tell you!
@@kebman nice one ♥️🤣 i thought it was an effect that could be purchased 😅
@@BaselShalan xD I've seen some plugins around, but IMO for smaller projects the built-in motion tracking is good enough for most use cases, in both AE and Premiere. Best of luck with your tracking projects!
Bought without even finishing video because this is what I’ve been looking for! Thanks for hooking it up! (Dope example by the way!)
did it work for you? I also bought it and was looking forward to using it, but my fcpx kept on crashing every time I tried to use the effect... :-(

thank you! been saving for after effects to get this effect
Super cool. When I saw the PowerBeats ad I was wracking my brain on how they did it in camera - makes total sense that it's an after effect of sorts
Why did you deep-fry the "after" footage tho?
That intro effect was really satisfying dude
I saw this effect in Sherlock Home 2, and now i know what exactly what it is. Thank you
I'm thinking about switching from Premiere to FCPX... now the decision is simpler, way much simpler. Thank you for the tips 👍🏻
What filter or color settings do you use? 1:25 & 6:08

Huge congrats with this video, buddy. Getting crazy views from those suggested videos now!
Thansks Daniel. Bought and installed. PEACE! ✌🏽
Dang, cant believe a plugin is actually able to pull this off. Powerful stuff!
It's just stabilization. It has been included in After Effects for about 10 years now.

Love the videos Daniel. But I would love to see more tutorials in Premier pro
the color grade is amazing
Do they have a plug in for premier pro as well
ZAYD HERRERA If you have After Effects you can do this pretty easily for free. Check cinecom.net’s channel for a video on it
So THATS now they did it!!! 👏🏽 good explanation man!
How many picked up the phone and said “Play Something Royalty-Free”
I did 🙋🏽♂️
"I couldn't find royalty free in your music"
Homie Hektor I couldn’t find royalty free music
Couldn’t find any lol
I think he must have created that expression as a custom Shortcut using the new built-in apple shortcuts app. So Siri recognized his expression and executed playing that song for him. Pretty funny tho..
Jason Exactly...
“ok, check out this royalty-free banger”
It's even much Better than the commercial!
This is sweet! Any chance Pixel Films Studios makes a plugin similar for Premiere users? I'd love to try it!
SAME! Was just about to start searching for that as soon as this was done
Dezerae Buford lmk if you find anything pls!! Us adobe users are like 🙃
@@Catholicweddingvideo might have found something! here’s the link: czcams.com/video/ewqMf81porU/video.html and for Premiere, you’ll need to start at the 4 minute mark. It might be beneficial to go ahead and see how she does it in Avid though for the basics.

YOOO TORONTO GANG (even tho i dont live in toronto i live a city right beside it)
gta (grand toronto area) gang
its been two years and i put in the code and it still worked!
I might switch from AE to Final Cut Pro because of this
On a video copilot tutorial, Andrew Kramer films a panning shot with a large field of view lens, he thens tries to keep a subject right in the center of the shot during the whole panning sequence, since the distortion is so big and there’s a substantial change of point of view while the subject moves from the right side of the shot to the left, if kept in center it looks pretty much like Matrix style turn-around shot, it looks great. Granted, the cropping has to be extreme in this case sadly. I think this could be doable too then with this FCPX stabilizer plugin.
00:00 that was showing off haha
Sooo much better thank keying it in frame for frame!
