What is meant by free legal aid?
Free legal aid is the provision of free legal services in civil and criminal matters for those poor and marginalized people who cannot afford the services of a lawyer for the conduct of a case or a legal proceeding in any Court, Tribunal or Authority.
Which of the following are not eligible for free legal aid?
It states that those persons who have annual income of less than the amount prescribed by the respective State Government, if the case is before any court other than the Supreme Court, and less than Rs. 5 Lakhs, if the case is before the Supreme Court, are eligible for free legal aid.
What are free lawyers called?
Pro bono (free) legal services by attorneys; administered by the Legal Practice Council. Other organisations offering pro bono legal services.
Who is eligible for legal aid in Act?
Anyone may apply for a grant of legal assistance, but to be eligible you must satisfy three tests. First you must satisfy an income and assets test. This means that your income and assets must be below prescribed limits. Second, your case must satisfy a merit or reasonableness test.

Sir Ji, Complaint Case anticipatry bail ki jarurat nahin hoti hai, complaint case mein court ka notice/summons Ghar paata hai, uske baad court mein haajir hona padta hai, anticipatry bail sirf FIR case ya keh sakte cognizable offence mein hi karwani hoti hai
