They didn't work for Jack because you have to keep them on for ~15 mins and they get substantially better over time, it's also written pretty clearly in the instructions to not keep taking them off as your brain needs to get used to it all
judging by her reaction maybe the reporter is a little bit colourblind too! they're not supposed to cause that much reaction in people with normal vision
you can't just use any enchroma glasses and think it works for all color blind people, you have to choose the specific type for your specific color blindness.
Mikael Murstam I think you're wrong, enchroma glasses work exclusively for red and green colorblindness and this includes deuteranomaly and protanomaly, they most probably have one of those types or an in between type of thing, whatever. You can choose between 3 types, full outdoor, indoor and outdoor, and full indoor, which is a clear glass and works with monitors too. But you don't have to choose one according to your type, you just take their test and it tells you how likely it is for them to work for you.

And unless they are unemployed actors, and the same goes for the people behind the camera, you tell me.The goes into detail how the glasses work, also what is going on in the eye and brain. Why they may work and why not. But for about 80% of the people that are colorblind they should work to some degree. Paul

The guy has mild form like I do. I'm a graphic designer and it really doesn't affect me even though color is important for my job. There are millions of shades of color. I just don't see some of the shades of green and red. But I can still see all basic color just fine.

No there are different kinds. They don't only work for red-green color blindness. That's why you take the test, in order to get the right one for you.

These do not actually work. As a color blind person myself it just doesn't do anything to improve color reception or create contrast.
