Classic Cars in Movies - Peugeot 404

The Peugeot 404 was produced from 1960 to 1975. It was available as a sedan, break, cabriolet, coupe and as a pick up. Apart from the coupe they feature all in this video. But instead of the coupe we have a clip of the non official 'rail car'. The car appears in many movies so we had to make choices. We have a spectacular car chase scene from 'Le Voyou'. And a special Peugeot 404 with a Toyota logo in 'Rock The Kasbah'. This and more. Enjoy!

I lived in France in 1970 and drove a 404, a 64 I believe. My friend and I drove from Clermont-Ferrand to Geneva at night. It was a very fast and exciting drive. I really enjoyed that car. Would love to own another.

There is also a Greek movie that is called Balkanizater (1997) and the plot is doing a trip (for a reason..) in an unreliable Peugeot 404. Very famous movie here in Greece.
