My name is Dave and I travel with my dog Bella in a 1987 Class A Motorhome. My channel is about full time RV Living in an older RV while keeping the wheels rolling on a budget. I do the repairs, updates and upgrades myself. I’ve become my own RV Mechanic/Medic! I seek boondocking opportunities every chance I can and power the RV with 500 watts of solar and approximately 500 amp hours of batteries. RV Resorts are just not our style!

Pennsylvania is remarkably beautiful
I haven't been to Crooked Creek for about 50 years. I remember it differently. The campground was on more of a hill. The restroom was certainly on a hill. I can remember rain gushing down the hill during a rain. I slept with my wife for the first time at that campground. We were about 9 years old. Our families were camping together at Laurel Hill, we got chased out of there by bad rainstorms and a skunk that decided to sniff around our old army surplus wall tent. Anyhow, we got to Crooked Creek late at night, my family slept in the car that night (a 1958 Fairlane). My future mother-in-law (in about 12 years) asked if I wanted to sleep in the top bunk of their camper. No hanky party, we couldn't stand the sight of each other then and besides, her brother was in the bed too.

Never been to Pennsylvania but every last video i see about the place the one main thing i see is GREEN everywhere...I enjoy you showing us these little camping spots as i make a note of them if ever in the area...Hope to seem more of them....Hope you enjoyed you time here, stay safe, you and Bella be well...
I grew up in that area. My parents had a camp on crooked creek ( actual creek into the river) and I learned to swim in the creek and spent summer days on the river in boats etc. my brother owns the camp on the creek now and we still spend summers there. My dad would take us to the beach at the lake sometimes. Such good memories. I enjoy watching your adventures 😊

We made it back to the farm base in sw Mississippi… the weather wasn’t kind to us this time .. found ourselves where we kept running from hail and thourder storms and lots winds too … went to lots COE up thru Ak Ok Tx La for past 5 weeks

I remember when I worked at The YMCA, they had a tiny battery in that Bus with the 454 Chevrolet Engine in it. I thought that was crazy, but that was what the Guy that Mowed The Yard said that it called for.

There’s a gal RVer here on CZcams that has that little oven and makes good stuff in it. She loves it!
She’s in a car or small van (can’t remember), I was surprised she found room for it, but she did!
Also, I found small sized pans for my regular toaster oven right there in Amazon that would probably fit just fine in an oven like yours.
it folds flat so it is only a square maybe 3 to 4 inches high

Oh my gosh...when you said Leechburg I automatically knew where talking about. Back in the late 80's early 90's my ex husband and I took carnival games into the Firemans festival in Leechburg with J&J Amusments. The one thing that sticks out in my mind about that town is (at that time) there was a little walking bridge that crossed the river near the lot we sat up at. I remember it scared me so bad. But I couldn't help but go back to it every year we went there. I wonder if it is still there after all these years? Thanks for bringing back some good memories!
With that oven , it will burn the bottom of biscuits or pizza so try doubling the pan and use pennies a few to elevate the second one .

I use am trickle charger on my electric start generator . Its always ready when I need it .

Hey, you can get one of those macerating pumps and hook it up to your sewer thing and pump out your sewer into your friend's one of his sewer cleanouts and you can do it through one of those it's like a 1-inch garden hose hooks to it but yeah they're not that expensive
If i were you i would have moved over one spot as no one else is there! You could just act dumb if confronted 😆
We stayed in a campground where there were A and B spots where two rigs shared the same electrical post! So instead of looking at your neighbors sewer, you were facing their awning 😆 It was a get to know your neighbor for sure 😊

Hey, Flying J or Pilot they usually have dump stations and there's a bunch of them around Pittsburgh Pennsylvania should be too far from where you are
I don;t think you are suppose to back up that far into the site. Then the firepit and table would be away from the rig.

that one he brought uses white gas it is sold in the Coleman brand in a one gallon can maybe 1.5 gallon, think there are a couple other brands now, you find it where you find the little green propane cans
