Though I agree that Badiashile was terrible on this match but also some mistakes in many other matches. Chelsea is lucky to still have Levi who hopefully stay fit. And hopefully the young kid that was bought from Boca can live up to his potential and play for first team soon or next season.

- Good hustle mudryk but the lad really can't be composed in the finishing 3rd whether it be passing, crossing, scoring...
- Renato veiga was inverted this game for some reason but he looked pretty good whether it be passing or covering ground
- Our defense REALLY needs to make smarter decisions and plays especially on crosses.. there were so many times the cross got in between the goalkeep and defender which would have been easily converted by any decent forward/team (not to take away from Servette, but if this was Man City or any bigger club they score at least twice on some of the crosses today from Servette)
- Goalie looked so stable and albeit not many real threats from Servette he looked composed and good on the ball... makes me worry so much less than watching Sanchez lol
- Neto had some key moments but looks promising albeit not the best game from him
- We got to remember Giu is 18 yo and altho he should have finished, that chance would not even have come about without his great pressing ability/quality
- Madueke finishing and playing on the right albeit more comfortable on his dominant left was a great sight to see in addition to his right-footed ability we saw during pre-season
I know we're just getting started chemistry-wise, position-wise, form-wise and there were some positives but if this is at the level we are going to play on Sunday vs. the wolves we might be in trouble :')
Mudryks needs to work on his positional play reason why he lacks getting scoring chances or showing his blistering pace and then we will see what he could really do😢🙏

Facts I’ve been saying for years even big teams have this when they don’t gel together instantly. Especially if theres also many management changes. Chelsea should be winning premier leagues with the squad depth and quality they got, if they can manage well enough which has been hard for them to do so.

Key pointers, we wasted many chances on the counter we need to train more on that. Also, the pressing of Guiu and Palmer can be lethal against any defence!
Madueke HAS to keep playing. He is one of the FEW attackers at Chelsea football club that plays DIRECT instead of passing back. He needs time and consistency, keep him on that right wing. Nkunku on the left and Palmer in the middle, let them adapt chemistry. Felix can be a great super sub.

Weiga looks very composed on the ball. He is communicating with others all the time like jorginho, defends well. Should be playing in staring xi as left back if he can be consistent against better teams.
Sanchez is too inconsistent to be our first choice. We should give Jorgenson more chances in the first team.
If Madueke plays 40 games this season. he will have 20+ goals this season.

Maresca needs to realize this formation is trash. No real central play at all and worst of all no real central support. This is not the build of our team. What is possession if you lack chance creation. This was an average team. If they stick with this then wingers need to invert on the comeback and midfields stay wide to create one touch passes on the bounce.
Did you watch 2nd half? After tactical tweak at half time Chelsea were creating lots of chances. Score should be more than 2-0 if not for terrible misses from Guiu and then shortly later by Nkunku.

I find it hard to understand the team selection. Chalobah not in the squad while Badashecanbe gets the centre back position. Really? Mudryck who doesn’t seem capable of making elementary decisions about passing. A tactical system that seems to stifle his creative players. A defence that could have shipped 5 goals to Servette. If you can’t impose a system that your players can master in 6 weeks, you either haven’t got the players for that system or there is something wrong with your system. The only question in my mind would be who will be the Chelsea manager next season?
